Yeah...."Alien Romulus" was good......I watched "Furoisa" again...I have a greater appreciation for "Fury Road" now......Mel is still missed but the film feels more complete now with "Furoisa" as a backstory......one thing I noticed about "Fury Road" that I never noticed before was that Elvis' granddaughter "Riley Keough is one of the girls (red head) trying to escape....the guy with the guitar still makes me laugh I didn't know that Riley Keough was Elvis' granddaughter. She sure is a cutie. And yeah, the guitar guy is a movie icon for sure.  Doof Tips with The Mad Max Guitar Guy

Riley Keough can also be seen in “Logan Lucky”(2017) that also has Channing Tatum, Adam Driver & Daniel Craig…
A southern version of “Ocean’s Eleven”
She has recently been in a legal battle with her grandmother Priscilla Presley over her mom Lisa Marie’s estate since her mother passed, l think she won the court battle but l don’t know for sure…Riley Keough l always thought was prettier than Lisa Marie.

Not to worry….Nashville got spared the hurricane….but East Tennessee got hit hard….l have been through there….it is rural & l can’t believe this hurricane reached that far into the main land….usually Florida or South Carolina or Louisiana get hit with these….not Georgia, North Carolina or Tennessee..😢 |

Glad to see that you're okay. When I didn't see you around for awhile I thought you might have gotten hit by the hurricane? I've been seeing pictures and videos over the last week of the devastation that it caused. Complete towns were wiped out by it. Lots of damage across many states. And who knows how many casualties? It's scary, and sad. Glad to hear that it missed you. |

So l caught the movie “Silkwood”(1983) awhile back about union activist Karen Silkwood who lobbied for better regulations at a nuclear plant & mysteriously died in a car crash in 1974….
Meryl Streep looked good as this character & surprisingly Kurt Russell took a supporting role as her boyfriend….this after leading both “The Thing” & “Escape from New York”
Kurt settled for a supporting role in “Silkwood”….if he wanted to do something different this was it….not many actors would have taken this role after doing two action hero roles…
“Silkwood” really shows how government contracts can corrupt companies who will put their employees at risks to meet deadlines & nuclear plants are a dangerous place to work…
Craig T. Nelson, Ron Silver, Fred Ward & Cher also star in this.
