Yesterday’s “Obi-Wan” episode was pretty good, there is a flashback scene with Anakin & Obi-Wan set right before the events of “Attack of the Clones” where Anakin’s aggression is so apparent.....& once again we see Vader in all his bad ass glory....
The Geeks & Gamers folks keep saying that inquisitor Reva is getting the best of Vader.....not so in this newest episode....Vader shows her that she is no match for him....
Jeremy & his friends have run their mouths & now they are going to look like fools! 🤣

The Prequels are now getting praise from people who were children when they came out that are now adults, similar to how the "Original Trilogy" was praised in the late 90's by those fans that were children in the early 80's....adults in the late 90's like me..... Translation.....ROTS was 17 years ago in 2005......& now are being praised by those who grew up with them. ROTJ was 1983.....& by 1997 with the SE versions we saw the same thing People like Jeremy at "Geeks & Gamers" are really starting to annoy me......I have called him out on Twitter (see replies).....he & the others are acting like the very people they ridicule.....I even stopped following "RK Outpost" because I thought Ryan was a knowledgable reader of the "Expanded Universe".....but some of the things he has said tells me he really hasn't read one EU novel.....I have read about 25 since 2010......the Disney shows like "The Mandolorian, Book of Boba Fett & Obi-Wan" really mirror things from the "EU"....even "Solo" & Rogue One" do as well......you can't call yourself an EU fan & then trash these shows.....EU fans don't say crap he has said..... Here are some of his & Jeremy's gripes....that are stupid at best Leia's ANH holographic message to Obi-Wan doesn't mention their time together when she was a child...........was she supposed to mention it???.....when Luke rescues her from the cell block he mentions he is there with Ben, Leia immediately knows who Ben is.......apparently Ryan & Jeremy have amnesia on this moment. Ryan says there was no lightsaber duel between with Vader & Obi-Wan between ROTS & ANH.......says who??....him??.....the duel in ANH at no time suggest this is their second meeting.....Vader even says "you should not have come back".....I don't think he is referring to Mustafar..........what an idiot!!! Jeremy complains that we are not seeing Luke as a child but a lot of Leia.........are we supposed to see more Luke than Leia?  .....the little girl playing Leia as a child would have met Carrie Fisher's approval.....she has Leia's mannerisms down to a tee & is very believable as Pademe's child.....they could not have picked as better child actress. Next Jeremy & Ryan say that Reva is upstaging Vader.....not true....she turns on Vader & is humiliated & soon realizes she is no match for him.....can't wait to see how these morons respond to that......their mouth has really overloaded their ass in that assesment.....not only that....the Grand Inquisitor from "Rebels" who was presumed killed is very much still alive...they did not break canon as many thought they did..   Next week's show is said to be about an hour & a half......the previous ones have been 45 to 50 minuntes......basically we are getting the equivalent of two shows in the form of one...this is the last one unless they do a Season 2. Personally I don't know what people's problem with this show is......in the case of Jeremy & Ryan they have built themselves around this "hate Disney SW" narrative that even if they did like it they can't really publicly say it for fear of losing subscribers & possibly advertisers for their YouTube channels......got to keep that gravy train going.....heaven forbid they ever have to get real jobs.. Ignore the hate.....if you liked "Rogue One" & "Solo".....you would definately like "The Mandolorian, "Book of Boba Fett" & "Obi-Wan Kenobi".....are there some slow moments, yes, are they missing some of Lucas' magic?....maybe just a bit........but I really believe Disney has learned their lesson on what people want to see & their misguided attempt to win us over with the Sequel films........the attention to detail on these shows are so accurate.......in "Book of Boba Fett" Jabba's palace is right down to the detail....so much that you would think this was shot in 1983.....that is how accurate it is Same thing in the "Mandolorian"......he visits the Cantina bar & it is right out of ANH.. I watched the final episode of "Obi-Wan Kenobi"....my only gripe....it wasn't longer.....a satisfying ending though....Vader & Obi-Wan have a fierce showdown & Obi-Wan gets the best of Vader in an emotional heartfelt moment....this scene explains why Ben calls Vader "Darth" on the Death Star.....it also explains Vader saying to Luke in ROTJ "Obi-Wan once thought as you do"......& yes the rumor is true Reva attempts to kill Luke but has a change of heart & doesn't kill him...
The whiners will be out in full force whining like they always do.....I left two tweets that might get me attacked.....I say this "Bring it on"!!!

You have to either be a powerful Jedi Master (Satele Shan Old Republic) (Yoda) or a powerful Sith user (Bane, Zannah, Maul, Starkiller & Kylo Ren)....unless stabbed directly in the heart....such was the case with Qui-Gon.......Reva was wearing armor....so she had a bit of protection.. Reva enters the Lars Homestead & is shot at by Owen & Beru......Jeremy whines that she should have been able to kill Owen & Beru.....uugghh.....I think she was injured from the lightsaber stab.....& wasn't 100%..... He then complains about Leia being in it.....saying that Leia shows no emotion when Ben is struck down on the Death Star.......what was she supposed to do cry in front of Han & Luke......that is like asking why Marty McFly's parents don't recognize him from 30 years ago in "Back to the Future"....geez!! I caught this radio rant where these guys on Sirius were talking about Season Hubley (Kurt Russell's ex-wife) who was the woman in "Escape From New York" that Snake encounters in the diner, she was also in "Vice Squad" which came out in Jan 1982....they rant about EFNY a bit, but the highlight is them talking about "Vice Squad" the way they review it is fucking halirious....."Vice Squad" had one of the most memorable villians ever... Yeah, "Vice Squad" is a gritty non politically correct film that could never get made today....Ramrod does get his at the end, actor Wings Hauser was so good in this role that I think it made Hollywood afraid of him, similar to Rutger Hauer as "The Hitcher".....they played these villians so well that is was almost scary to watch them...I think "Vice Squad" is sort of an accurate depiction of what the LAPD deals with on Hollywood Blvd every week......I think James Cameron borrowed from it with some aspects of "The Terminator" in terms of a killer searching for a woman & police having to find her before he does.....just like Linda Hamilton, Season Hubley is being hunted by murderous pimp Ramrod & police are frantically searching for them after she sets him up in a sting operation & he escapes custody.....she was at the time married to Kurt Russell, anytime I watch this one I always have to wonder what Kurt thought about it.....she gets banged up a little by Ramrod & almost killed, it is bloody violence against a woman before the cops show up & save her...her getting beat up is pretty similar to how Camille Keaton's Jennifer Hills is assaulted in "I spit on your Grave". Some have called "Vice Squad" the last of the exploitation films of the 70's......it is definately not for the faint at heart. I watched the 1991 film "Switch" with Ellen Barkin & Jimmy Smits....directed by Blake Edwards who gave us "Blind Date" with Bruce Willis....this one had all the right elements to be funny but I just didn't find it that funny......my sweet Lysette was in it but not enough....also Tea Leoni (Deep Impact) has one scene... WTF!! & Lorraine Brocco who looked stunning here is underused as well as is Perry King as the guy every woman hates, Jobeth Williams (Poltergeist) who along with Lysette is one of King's jilted lovers who murder him & he is brought back as a woman in the form of Ellen Barkin who looked good too I have to admit as he as a woman has to find a woman who don't hate him to get to heaven.....probably a film that looked good on paper.....here is a hot tub scene where my sweet Lysette along with Jobeth Williams & another woman drown Perry in the hot tub.....rule of thumb...never get in a hot tub with women that are pissed at you...apparently there is no english version on Youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5PBD43Gofc . |

Yep, It was May I think......it is the one where Eric Scully & Elektra find themselves on an island with Mr. Bill & Pep (dwarf)......I kept picturing Warren Beatty as Mr. Bill.......imagine him & Rutger Hauer as advesaries......too bad we will never see it on screen.....if you want to know what happens to Mr. Smith it is in the two "Lost Finale" stories......If you start at Chapter 3 of the first one you really don't need to have seen the show to follow it........it follows the plot elements of "Taria vs Sabine" & is more or less of a continuation of that one..........I think I may be done with this story universe this time.....I am out of ideas......I can't think of any more stories I want to tell.....what started off as three stories (Max & Jennifer, EFNY Prequel & Sequel) two years ago evolved into 32 stories.......I really can't think of any more to tell.....It has been hard saying goodbye to many of my created characters.....but eventually you have to......it has been a good outlet for me to flesh out some of these characters......so many of my favorite actors & actresses are getting up there in age.......creating characters for some of them in their prime & having them interact with existing characters (Rutger, Lysette, Mel, Camille. Arnold, Sly, Kurt, Ann) has been fun...I will say it again.....we should all stop aging at 40! Haven't watched the Superman II Donner cut just yet. I should probably get around to it soon. It's been sitting here on my desk for weeks now. |

You will never see another actor quite like him in Hollywood ever again. The guy just had that amazing screen presence and charisma that would hold your attention and keep your eyes glued to the screen, no matter what role he played. As good as Harrison Ford was in the movie "Blade Runner", it was Rutger Hauer who really made that movie the classic that it is today. R.I.P. Mr. Hauer! |

Yeah, that was a fitting end for Gene’s character....early on in the film he kills Rutger Hauer’s girlfriend & best friend by blowing them up on a boat.....that was a little payback...
Mel Harris (Thirtysomething) was the girlfriend & was so fine.

Speaking of fine.....ever since l watched “Switch” l had forgotten how fine Ellen Barkin is.....watched “Sea of Love” yesterday....had not seen it in 30 years...it is where Al Pacino is a N.Y. cop investigating a series of murders of men who sought women in personal ads & Barkin is a suspect who Pacino who is posing as a lonely man begins a love affair with....this film was better than l remembered it to be & Ellen Barkin was so fine.....may have to get it....
I already got “Switch” despite it not being as funny as l would have liked....still it has my sweet Lysette in a hot tub 😁....l couldn’t resist 😁
I also watched “Johnny Handsome” another one l had not seen in 30 years....
It has Mickey Rourke as a disfigured man who is double crossed in a robbery by Ellen Barkin & Lance Henrickson.....who play up the bad guys like you wouldn’t believe & Morgan Freeman as a cop with some good one liners.

Her name is Leia.....not sure if that is her real name.....but found her on "FTV Girls".....she looks just like a young Carrie Fisher from the 70's......she would be perfect for Princess Leia if Disney did a film or series between "A New Hope" & "The Empire Strikes Back"  ..  |

.....the little girl playing Leia as a child would have met Carrie Fisher's approval.....she has Leia's mannerisms down to a tee & is very believable as Pademe's child.....they could not have picked as better child actress.
