Lysettefan on Twitter is at it again…..posting pics then deleting them….WTF…..why go to the trouble of posting something then deleting it??…..l tell you this may be Bittersweet trolling me….l think she is still around….she has seen me bragging on here & is trolling me on Twitter….when post a pic of my sweet Lysette & l retweet it….it always gets removed WTF??!! I post stuff on Twitter and then delete it all the time. But, I do know that BitterSweet is still around because she posted a recent review for something on her Amazon account. She deleted her Twitter account but could still be posting under another screen name, or maybe she switched over to another platform like Instagram or something. I was asked by someone to join Instagram not too long ago but I declined because I am already wasting too much of my time on the sites that I already have accounts at. |

Here is a scene from Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ".. Jesus did exist….l can’t believe people would even question it…
What has always struck me was how his followers like Peter denied him in his final hours but then upon his return they carried on his teachings knowing they too would suffer similar fates……which Peter ultimately did by being crusified himself….
Those guys had to witness something extraordinary to reverse themselves like that……something that made them not fear death…

So “Fast X” opens next week….the 10th “Fast & Furious” film….
Looks like everyone is back for this one except Kurt Russell as Mr. Nobody”…..yeah he was a government agent who called himself Mr. Nobody”…..l should have used that name in one of my stories….
Brie Larson will be playing Kurt’s daughter in the film….l guess they couldn’t meet his asking price to return…
Oh, well at least they got Jason Statham to return & The Rock DeWayne Johnson is said to be back in a post credit scene…this after he said he would not be back….they got The Rock back but couldn’t get Kurt to come back??

Yep….the “Fast & Furious” films really require a serious suspension of belief….but that is what makes them fun….
Personally l never cared for the first two….have not seen the third & hated the fourth one….
However l really like “Fast Five”(favorite) & Furious 6 & 7….
Didn’t like the 8th one….the 9th one was ok but l may have a different opinion on 9 once l see this new one….
Charlize Theron was the main villain in pt.8 & 9 & something about her creeps me out….l think that is my problem with “Fury Road”…..it is not the film itself it is her……she just comes off as not likable & just recently publicly threatened violence over this drag queen stuff …..the woman is a loon & a nutcase…..l think she is playing her real life role in these films..
“Fast X” makes references to “Fast Five”…..so l will give my verdict hopefully in the coming weeks….Jason Mamoa looks like a cool bad guy in this one..

Yeah, Charlize Theron basically just ruined her character for me in "Fury Road". I loved that movie and probably watched it at least a dozen times now. I saw it in the theater when it first came out 3 times. It's a great film, even if it doesn't star Mel Gibson, which it should have. But Tom Hardy did a decent job in the Mad Max role. The scenery and action scenes and cars are the real stars of the movie though, in my opinion. There was talk years back that Charlize would have her own spin-off movie of her character Furiosa but I haven't heard anything more about it since. What I wouldn't mind seeing instead is a prequel to "Mad Max" with Max and Goose fighting crime together. It could work if they got the right actors to play both characters, and it had a good story. |

Charlize Theron was good as Keanu Reeves’ suffering wife in “The Devil’s Advocate”(1997)…..where Al Pacino is Satan….who is the head of a law firm & entices Reeves to embrace his vanity & at the same time torments Theron….
This film is more relevant today than it was then….
“Vanity” is my favorite sin” Pacino says….
Seems to be everyone’s favorite sin these days!

Well, it seems there have been some leaks coming out about the new “Indy” film…..the relic they are chasing after is a time travel device, according to reports Indy & his female sidekick get thrown back to the Roman Empire days & Indy doesn’t want to return back to the present because we will learn that Mutt was killed in Vietnam & Marion left him a broken old man so his sidekick Phoebe Waller Bridge has to knock him unconscious & save the day….these are what some critics who saw the film at Cannes Film Festival are leaking to the press..
I don’t know what to think of this….these leaks always almost always turn out to be true…..we saw leaks like this for the “Obi-Wan” series last year & all were true & accurate..🙄
I will admit the film looks fun but this is not going to be the Indy we all remember 🫣

You know l gave “Crystal Skull” another look & realized it is really not that bad, it definitely isn’t “Raiders of the Lost Ark” but it is a fun movie & has the overall “Indy” feel to it….
& despite its problems it does have that feel good ending to it with Indy & Marion getting married….
But we can’t have happy families & successful marriages in entertainment anymore….
Why is Indy a broken man in this new film??
When is the last time we saw a family oriented show?

Well, I went to see "Fast X".....my verdict on the film......it is all over the place, it is clear they are setting up another one.... but it was all over the place....  The Good.....Jason Mamoa as the bad guy.....he was definately having fun as this guy.......The Rock in the post credit scene The Bad.....Jason Statham gets only 10 minutes of screen time...WTF? !!!!!.......Brie Larson gets maybe 20 minutes of screen time....another WTF??!!!....they were the main reasons I went..  The Ridiculous.....More over the top car stunts....enough already......Charlize Theron's villian finding some idiotic redemption....no way they would trust her, no fucking way!!!.......Gal Gadot making a cameo appearance whose character was killed or presumably killed in "Furious 6" Brie Larson who play Kurt Russell's character's daughter is shot with her fate left unknown, this happened to Kurt in "Furious 8" as well.....are they dead?...don't know....everything is left hanging at the end.... I hate to say it....but this franchise like Marvel has worn out its welcome....the magic appears to be gone....this is always a problem with successful films....you know the audience is there so you tend to get lazy on everything.....this film could have used tighter editing.....the last two suffered from this as well.. Bottom line…..they should have stopped at “Furious 7”….. No wonder Kurt Russell took a pass…..can’t blame him really & no wonder they had to beg the Rock to come back… Simply put….this one made absolutely no sense whatsoever… I knew it was going to be bad when l only saw maybe 10 other people in the theater…..Memorial Day weekend has always had a bigger audience than this…especially after the first week….the word is out & people stayed away…. It has run its course….again they should have stopped at “Furious 7”! |

Sounds like just another nostalgic cash-grab. It seems that Hollywood has lost its creativity and originality anymore and just wants to keep regurgitating the same old worn out pap. I'd just as well rather watch older films than anything that Hollywood puts out these days.

I finally gave all the stories some finesse & improved my writing on all 36 of them...read them in chronological order.....I changed "Endgame's" ending (No.31).....Mr.X doesn't die....the character grew on me....could no longer kill him off... I may write another "Ray Quick & Dutch" Pt.3 & 4.....that takes place after “Endgame”…I know where I want to go with it....but it will be awhile....since I did put Mr.X in a brief romance with Taria in the "Lost" story I may do one where they have a son & he avenges their murder in the year 2050 where they would be in their late 70's & him 40 as he sets out to find their killers (maybe) I did add "Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" to this massive story Universe.....I have re-evaluated that one & like it more now than I did when it came out... I really hope the new one is fun, it looks fun & Phoebe Waller Bridge is hot with a body to die for.....but I hope they don't make Indy look like a fool...  |

Everything we have been told this guy confirmed…Indy plays second fiddle to Phoebe through out the film, yes they do end up back in time & Indy doesn’t want to return to the present & she has to knock him out & save the day, but then Indy suddenly finds himself back in 1969 (kinda like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz) & is greeted by Marion, a returning Karen Allen & others, don’t know who the others are & lndy retires & Phoebe takes his hat with her….
This will probably be a fun movie…..but this is not going to be the Indy we all remember from 1981.

When “Raiders of the lost ark” came out Ford was 38….the film was set in 1936….
According to the reviews this new film starts in the 1930’s where we see the de-aged Ford….it then goes to the present day in 1969 which would be consistent with Ford’s age now….most of the film is in 1969…when they go back in time they arrive in the days of the Roman Empire…lndy does not want to return to 1969…
He then wakes up back in 1969….& sees Marion…now whether they do a knock off of the first “Back to the Future” where meddling in the past changed the year 1969 is unknown……the film critics didn’t give too much away on that….l guess we will know in two weeks.

Watched a film last night called “65” that has Adam Driver who plays a guy (think “Battlestar Galactica”) who is from a point of origin in the Universe who encounters small asteroids that cause him to crash on Earth 65 million years ago when dinosaurs ruled the Earth….& realizes that an escape pod is with half of his ship that broke off where he has to make his way there while encountering many dinosaurs along the way where the asteroid is on a collision course with Earth…
This was way better than l thought it would be, like a prehistoric “Jurassic Park” meets “Battlestar Galactica”…..the asteroid collision scene looks as real as it might have really looked 65 million years ago…
Definitely one l am going to have to get.
