Here's a video tribute to my favorite villain on "The Walking Dead", the Governor, played by David Morrissey. He was such a complex and interesting character that would have you rooting for him one minute, and then totally despising and hating him the next. Damn....The Governor means business.....you got me wanting to watch the "Walking Dead".....I checked Hulu & they have some AMC shows.....but not this one.....hopefully they will at some point......this reminded me of two more scenes from "Lost" where they meet "The Others" www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_CxeM1eFkoThis was Season 2's cliffhanger ending... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHJZPtd6qVs

If you decide to give "Lost" a look.....you will get hooked into it, Rock.....the first season focuses on the survivors of the plane crash & who they were before the crash with flashback scenes.....creepy villain Ben shows up in the second season & really gives Kahn a run for his money as far as villians go......Season 2 is where it really takes off......I really do think "Lost" paved the way for the "Walking Dead"......without "Lost"....I don't think there would have been a "Walking Dead"......every network was attempting to copy the success of "Lost"....& AMC was the only one that succeeded with the "Walking Dead" which premiered in 2010 right after "Lost" ended. Because "Lost" aired on ABC (owned by Disney)......it is only available to stream on Disney+ & Hulu. Yes. "The Walking Dead" was a huge success for AMC. Unfortunately they fucked it up, even though it is still going, with even plans for some spinoff series of it in the future. The problem is that they killed off way too many important and beloved characters for the shock value of it. It began to get repetitive and boring after awhile. I still haven't watched the last half of I think it was season 10? It just wasn't keeping me interested anymore. I will have to finish viewing it and see if it gets any better? But the first 5 or 6 seasons are great. I watched those multiple times and they just keep getting better and better with each new viewing..... The first 4 seasons of "Lost" was awesome edge of your seat suspense.....season 5 went a bit off the rails but was still good up until the last two episodes which I don't even acknowledge...it was that bad....& the final sixth season was so bad that the writers were either on crack or had never watched the previous seasons.....season 6 doesn't exist as far as I am concerned.....which is why I wrote my own two-part ending..... Sad to hear that the "Walking Dead" went the same route after season 6.....I think my daughter said the same thing....she was hooked on the "Walking Dead".....in fact I remember her watching this one episode where some dude with a bat was intimidating everyone & some girl got caught up with some community type people that seemed like puritans that didn't want to let her leave (I think).....this was in 2016....so I am assuming it was Season 6 of the "Walking Dead" she was watching.....she seemed to lose interest not long after that...

I can see a lot of similarities between "Lost" and "The Walking Dead", judging by the snippets that I have watched of it at least. They seem to have a lot in common, just under different circumstances. Obviously the makers of TWD were inspired at least in some part by "Lost".

Huh? I have had a copy of it on Blu-ray for years now. It came in a box set with all six original Star Trek movies on Blu-ray. I haven't watched them in a long while now but when I did, they looked fantastic. They must have discontinued selling them for a while and are now re-releasing them again?

Well, l am midway into the “Terminator” series “Sarah Connor Chronicles”.......although true to the first two movies....it is becoming clear to me that the “FOX” network who aired this show didn’t want to spend a lot of money on “Terminator” effects let alone action sequences....cheap bastards....it is almost like watching a soap opera....although l am going to finish it hopefully by the weekend...l don’t have much hope for it in the action department ....stay tuned

I am currently in the midst of finishing season 10 of The Walking Dead. Some episodes are actually surprising me with how good that they are. Other's, not so much. I noticed Amazon has the first 6 seasons of the "Walking Dead" available together in a 6 volume set for $70.........I may have to get that or pay $2.99 per episode to watch on Prime....probably would be cheaper to get the set........you said the first 6 seasons are the best.....it might be awhile....inflation is eating up some of my extra money This week I watched two films I had not seen in awhile......"Backdraft"(1991)......I forgot Rebecca DeMornay was in it as Kurt Russell's estranged wife & Donald Sutherland as the Hannibal Lectuer of fire.....Robert DeNiro as the fire investigator & Scott Glenn & Jennifer Jason Leigh in supporting roles.... Also watched "Runaway"(1984) with Tom Selleck, Cynthia Rhodes & Gene Simmons......this was Gene's first film.....found out that he had been offered parts in "Flashdance" & "Doctor Detroit" the year before & turned them down because he didn't want to do musical type films........he was good in "Runaway" as bad guy Luther........... www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRVXEG0p5wwLuther killed by his own creation.....the spider robots....programed by him to kill whoever comes down the elevator... www.youtube.com/watch?v=MU9dRD7F-Xs

If so, I would go there and see if they have used sets of TWD for sale there and buy the first season and see if you like it first. That is the only season that I own on DVD right now. I bought it used at FYE for only $5 bucks. The first season has only 6 episodes but it introduces a lot of the main characters in the series and is worth owning. Either that or just subscribe to Netflix and watch it there? They have all first 10 seasons there and that's where I watch them. I may buy a few other seasons used later on but since I am still a member at Netflix I just figure I'll wait to buy anymore because I can always re-watch them there for now. And I must've watched the first 5 or 6 seasons at least 4 or 5 times now, I kid you not. My mother-in-law before she passed away was hooked on the show as well and also watched them multiple times too.

When "Tower Records" closed up in 2009 "FYE" took the building in 2010.....then they were gone in 2012.....not far from Music Row.....now a Hotel sits there......Nashville is becoming crowded.....we are as big as Atlanta now....maybe bigger.......I will likely subscribe to "Netflix".....but right now I am still watching the "Terminator" series on Hulu.....I am 9 episodes to go.....I am losing interest, it started off good.....now it is all over the place....but I am going to finish it......it is becoming less & less "Terminator" & more like "Dallas"

I am down to the last 5 episodes of “Sarah Connor Chronicles”......this “Terminator” show is slow....l think the only reason l haven’t given up on it is Summer Glau as the female Terminator protecting John.....she is definitely eye candy.....one good episode with her is when she is at a library & sees a 1930’s photo of a man she recognizes from the future, she begins to research this & discovers that he was a Terminator accidentally sent back to 1932 when he was supposed to go back to 2012.....while in 1932 he accidentally kills a construction tycoon who is destined to build a skyscraper where a mayor will give a speech in 2012.....the mayor is the Terminator’s target....this Terminator assumes the dead man’s identity & assists with building the skyscraper then lays in wait behind a brick wall til 2012....because she is in 2009 she goes to the skyscraper & finds him laying in wait with a tommy gun & they have a Terminator fight that is very reminiscent of Arnold Schwarzenegger & Kristanna Loken’s bathroom fight in T3......Summer Glau is badass in this scene....sadly she is not utilized as much in other episodes ....but at least this episode was good...

Well, I finally finished the "Terminator" series "Sarah Connor Chronicles"......my verdict on this show is simply this....it started off good in the first season but quickly went all over the place in the second season......FOX did not want to spend a lot of money on this show in the visual effects dept......so it is more nighttime drama than anything....
Here is a quick rundown, I will try to explain as best as I can...
Season 1......A T-800 attempts to kill John in the year 1999 two years after the events of "Terminator 2"......Summer Glau is a reprogrammed T-800 sent back to protect John & is saved by Glau who then takes him & Sarah to a bank where she has a safety deposit box where she has a time displacement device where they hold up the bank so they can be locked in the vault forcing everyone to flee the bank where the other T-800 shows up & attempts to tear down the vault as they all go through the time portal & emerge in the year 2007 naked on a busy highway similar to "Genesys".....the rest of the season revolves around Kyle's brother going back in time to 2007 as well....
On a funnier note.....Dr. Silverman is now a believer & gets committed to the same mental hospital that Sarah was in..
Season 2.....This season has all kinds of characters introduced such as FBI agent Ellison (from Season 1), Kyle's brother Derek, Derek's lover from 2027, a girlfriend for John, one of Sarah's former lovers, countless T-800's on different missions, a T-1000 (Shirley Manson) masquerading as a Tech company CEO who ensnares everyone in attempt to....well I don't know....it appears she is trying to stop Skynet from being activated but pulls John to the future of 2027 where he meets Kyle, his brother & Summer's human character who the T-800 was modeled after who do not recognize him & have never heard of the name John Connor, in other words by pulling him to the future he never became their leader which obviously was the T-1000’s intent all along...that is where it ends....like I said this show was all over the place.....I have no desire to watch it again.......
I will just stick with the first two films & Salvation....
Simply put.....if you want action like in the films you will be disappointed......if you want night time drama set in the "Terminator" Universe....this is your show....I can see why this show dropped in the ratings & was cancelled.....Disappointed in the direction this show went....☹️

I finally got the blu ray of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture".....this was better than I remembered it to be, such a visually stunning film, true Sci-Fi, back when substance meant more than flashy fast paced visual effects......"The Motion Picture" is definately not for the folks with short attention spans....I remember my dad taking me to see it in 1979 when it hit theatres...remember it like it was yesterday.....this would be a good go-between with "Into Darkness" & "Wrath of Kahn"......
Hey, Rock....did you ever read the "Star Trek Awakenings" story.....Predators vs Klingons I just had to do.....that was probably my last story.....I am out of ideas...34 stories is probably enough.

No, sorry Roman, I meant to read it but got sidetracked and completely forgot about it. I will eventually get around to reading it sometime though. I agree with you, ST:TMP is a really good movie. I saw it on opening weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though they drastically changed their uniforms from the TV series, which is a minor complaint. Just wait until you see "Wrath of Khan" on Blu-ray, and the 3rd one, "Search for Spock". Both are just as stunning visually as well.

Found it....here is the whole interview.....Mel Gibson would be a fun guy to hang out with....they say he is a prankster on his films, I don't think Julia Roberts cared much for him on "Conspiracy Theory"....she had just finished "My Best Friend's Wedding" & according to her....really didn't want to do another film back to back....& his pranks probably didn't improve her mood much.... The Christopher Walken story had me rolling......Walken has that intimidating presence....why I visualized him in the "Jenny/Dallas Vegas" story......who better than Walken to be a Vegas mob guy..& Joe Pesci's boss... www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiXhwkg6ikI

You will get a kick out of this Rock, this is the fight scene from "Endgame", however someone inserted many film characters into this scene....funny stuff Superman, Batman, Judge Dredd, Predator, Indiana Jones, Marty McFly, Jack Sparrow, Ripley, Yoda, Darth Vader, Neo, Kirk, NG crew, John McClane, Max & Immorton Joe, Godzilla, Rambo, Terminator, Ghostbusters, RoboCop, Jason, Freddy, Bruce Lee, Clint Eastwood, Lone Wolf McQuade, James Bond (all of them) & even Jack Burton show up here as well as other film characters.....whoever put this together was genius... www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp2lFpg3h8E

So, the fat rapist slob Harvey Weinstein is now on trial in Los Angeles for the 11 women he raped there, one l think being Ashley Judd, even Governor Gavin Newsom’s wife is one of his victims, she will be testifying....saw a story on my phone that one of Mel Gibson’s former girlfriends was also a victim & that Mel has been tapped to testify on what she told him, Weinstein’s lawyer is trying to block Mel’s testimony claiming that Mel is a racist that hates Jews & the judge has denied Weinstein’s lawyer’s request saying Mel will be allowed to testify, makes you wonder if this is why Mel went on that Jewish rant, Weinstein’s lawyer also said Mel’s “Passion of the Christ” was anti-Jewish & the judge said that had no bearing on his upcoming testimony, also Daphne Zuniga (Melrose Place, Spaceballs) will also testify as one of her friends confided in her that she too was raped by Weinstein...
Unbelievable how this fat fuck got away with this for so many years....
After this trial is over.....he will extradited to London to be tried for raping my sweet Lysette & three others there.......
Fat slob deserves everything that is handed to him!

Update: mild correction:
The woman who confided in Mel Gibson about Harvey Weinstein was not his girlfriend but a woman who worked in a massage parlor.
In 2003 Mel Gibson was trying to find distributor for “The Passion of the Christ”....he met with Weinstein to see if he would distribute the film through Miramax to which Weinstein replied that it was anti-Jewish & it caused an argument between the two in which Mel stormed out of his office.....this was three years before that DUI where he went on that rant.
According to sources the woman that Mel would go to for a massage also had Weinstein as a client, Mel began to tell her of this incident in which the woman broke down crying once Weinstein’s name was mentioned...she then said that Weinstein raped her after his last massage & confided this to Gibson.....no wonder Gibson went on that rant.
I hope he buries him on the witness stand ....too bad he can’t chase Weinstein like he did Toecutter 🤣🤣
