There is a story out that a former Disney accountant has filed a claim with the SEC (securities exchange commission) about Disney cooking the financial books....can you say "Enron"?......you know when I think about it....Bob Iger does look like a crook......I have to wonder if his name was in Jeffrey Epstein's little black book.......even more damaging is the accountant filing the claim is a woman.....oh, man...."we have to believe all women now, right?.....let's hope she does not suffer the same fate as Epstein.

This guy's thoughts on this latest sneak peek at "The Rise of Skywalker" matches my sentiments exactly. The trailer just doesn't excite me at all. It doesn't show you anything new or interesting. Rise Of Skywalker D23 Special Look Trailer is NOTHING SPECIAL - Disney Star Wars is DEAD // REACTION For me it is hard to say.....Daisy Ridley & Adam Driver really have so much potential to be stars & yet I can't help but feel that these films are going to do serious damage to their promising careers, I just re-watched the "Force Awakens" a few days ago & I still have to say I still like this one, they really seemed to be going somewhere with the story, Han & Leia's seperation did not bother me like it did a lot of people, having been married & divorced myself I can say that even with the best intensions it just somtimes doesn't always work out, so I was o.k. with that aspect, when you read what Gary Katz originally outlined for "Return of the Jedi" that Lucas passed on, you see some of that incorporated here, Luke on a secret mission, Han dying, the passing of the torch & on.....this one was going somewhere & I think most fans wanted to see where it was going to go....it was a cool set-up that went nowhere in "Last Jedi".....everything that was set up was totally ignored in "Last Jedi".....I mean Rian Johnson has to be the dumbest director ever in Hollywood......& "Lucasfilm"......talk about being asleep at the wheel!!......."the only thing that looks promising in "Rise of Skywalker" is Daisy & Adam.......I am bothered by the fact that we didn't see Lando in any new footage......not a good sign......somehow I get the feeling he is going to be killed off too.......overall this guy in the video is on the mark pretty much.......Joshua who fills in for Jeremy at "Geeks & Gamers" from time to time talked about a comment that was made..... that they were going to kill the Emperor off the right way.....what does that mean exactly?!!.....it must mean that the Emperor's death needs to be at the hands of a woman......yeah, that is going to bring the fans back....sure!! |

I really enjoyed "The Force Awakens" too and defended it back when a lot of people were hating on it. I told them, sure, it is basically just a rehash of the original trilogy, but Disney had to do something to get the newbies and millenials caught up and interested in an old space opera from the 80's. I liked all of the characters, the story was decent, and the special effects and action scenes were outstanding. It was a great way to start up a new Star Wars trilogy and gain new fans and interest in Star Wars. And then "The Last Jedi" happened. To this day I do not understand what Disney was thinking when they were making this film? The characters were bland and uninteresting. Even Rey and Kylo Ren were kinda boring the 2nd time around. Snoke turned out to be a joke. Captain Phasma turned out to be just another Boba Fett... disappointing fans in the end. The only thing that really stands out in my mind from that movie was the space battle scenes in the first half hour, which were pretty darned exciting, I must admit. Otherwise the rest of the movie was pretty forgetful. As I said before, we will just have to wait and see what happens when the new one is released in theaters, but I am in no great hurry to see it. Heck, to be quite honest... these latest Disney Star Wars movies only make the originals look even that much more better than they have ever looked before, in my opinion.

To be fair though, I should add that I thought "Rogue One" and "Solo" were both really good movies. Disney got those two right, in my opinion. Yes, Rogue One has a nice consistent flow into "A New Hope"......& "Solo" was just downright fun & felt like a "Star Wars" film.... That is a really early version of the Clone Wars series that I have never seen before. I do own all 6 seasons of The Clone Wars series that ran on the Cartoon Network though and that show is simply amazing. And I agree, General Grievous is one of my favorite villains in the Star Wars universe. For fans of Mark Hamill.....right after doing "Star Wars"....Hamill went on to do a film called "Corvette Summer".....this was a fun movie where Hamill plays Kenny Dantley a auto shop student who with the help of his classmates they all redesign & build a Stingray Corvette.....when the car is stolen, Kenny sets out to Las Vegas to find it & meets a would be hooker(Annie Potts, who was sexy as hell) along the way....what follows is a would be romance & some fun action as well as some painful revelations.....the film came out in summer 1978 & Hamill no doubt was having fun.....this scene is toward the end in which him & Potts are being chased....I always thought the black Camaro Trans-Am was a cooler car.....they sure don't make them like that anymore.....I highly recommend this film to Mark Hamill fans.....it is good old fashion 70's fun..... www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlfayfSo83c |

Never saw "Body Bags".......however I do remember Mark Hamill doing a film called "Black Magic Woman".....it was sort of a rip off of "Fatal Attraction"......where Hamill has a girlfriend he wants to marry (Amanda Wyss, Tina from "Elm Street") but has a fling with a mysterious woman played by Appolonia Kotero (Purple Rain).....when he breaks off the affair, she puts a curse on him & Wyss & strange things start happening......I have tried to find this one to watch again & can't find it anywhere.....I think it came out in 1991. |

I don't think that I have ever seen "Black Magic Woman", but it sounds just like this story that I heard recently about a guy who met this attractive older woman who claimed that she was a witch and when he spurned her advances she put a curse on him and he eventually died from it. He believed that he was being haunted by demons that she sent after him. It is a really bizarre story and I will have to see if i can find it and post it here soon.

The guy on "World Class Bullsh**ers" made a good point about "Star Wars" collecting & how it sucks now, people want bad azz characters, I remember back in 1999 when I started collecting, "TPM" was out in theatres & you could not find a "Darth Maul" anything with a search warrant in any store.....same thing happened with Jango Fett & Count Dooku in 2002 with "AOTC" & General Greivous & many Clone Troopers in 2005 with ROTS, from 2004 to 2008 those Cantina aliens were coming out a little at a time & were hard to find, Yoda was always hard to find & the "Expanded Universe" characters like Darth Malgus, Darth Revan, Darth Malek & Bastilla Shan were pretty much non-existent on store shelves, you literally had to go to the Internet on Ebay, so what changed???.....why is collecting in the gutter?, the answer as he pointed out, people just don't care about these Sequel Trilogy characters, Kylo Ren could have been a real bad azz, but nooooo!!!!.... he has been watered down to a joke of a villian, no one cares about Poe, Finn & Rey, now the "Rogue One" figures sold well, I wonder why that is, could it be that that film honored George Lucas' creation?.....mmmmmm......Disney has so screwed up this franchise, no wonder Bob Iger has a tell-all book out, the hammer is about to drop on him, he knows "Rise of Skywalker" is going to under perform just as the "Galaxy's Edge" theme park has.....he knows the jig is up when he has to explain to the Disney shareholders how he screwed up the biggest franchise in movie history.
