I used to have a lot of Star Wars collectibles too, but I sold most of it on eBay years ago. I still have a few things, like some lightsabers that my daughter and I used to play fight each other with when she was younger. Only thing is, she was always smashing me in the fingers and knuckles with it though, so I got tired of that pain real quick. They may only be made of plastic but they still hurt like a son-of-a-bitch! But, I still have them sitting around here somewhere. I have a few of the Star Wars Hot Wheels cars too. Now those are really cool. And some of the miniature die cast vehicles like the Millenium Falcon, some X-Wing fighters, and Boba Fett's Slave One ship. And I even have a bunch of Star Wars Lego's kits, still unopened in their packages, like a huge Millenium Falcon that an old friend of mine gave me years ago as a gift. But I haven't bought anything Star Wars related in years now. My spare room here where I have my computer set up has dozens of unopened Transformers action figures and Hot Wheels Monster Trucks hanging on the walls. I am thinking of maybe selling them off to collectors one of these days. If your new place has a spare room, hang some of your Star Wars action figures on the walls like I did with some of my stuff.

I actually did display my collection in my previous house, it was 3 bedroom, when the ex-wife left I had the main bedroom, display room & the play room.....now it is a toss up, because this one is a two bedroom, the extra bedroom will likely be the display room....I mean, I am never going to see Star again & Bittersweet is never coming here ....might as well make it a display room.....I still have the bedroom though if somebody wants to play.

So Daisy Ridley (Rey) understands fans fustrations of Disney's current direction of "Star Wars"....not suprising..........in this video from 2017 right before the release of "Last Jedi", where Mark Hamill, Rian(dumb)Johnson, Daisy Ridley & Adam Driver are on "Jimmy Kimmell" promoting the film, it is clear to me that Daisy & Adam wanted to be somewhere else, their short spoken words says it all, they knew it sucked & yet they were being forced to promote this sorry-excuse-for-a-Star Wars movie.....I almost feel bad for them here.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFBuCp19L7M

I could listen to Mark Hamill tell stories about his Star Wars years for hours. And Daisy Ridley is looking really fine in that pretty dress, I must say!

This just in! "The Rise of Skywalker" will feature all-new red-colored 1st Order Stormtroopers called "Sith Troopers"! Because it's just easier to tweak and paint over an already existing design for selling the action figures to all of the kids and collectors.
Seriously though, I think they look kinda cool, although rather gimmicky. But what's next? Blue Stormtroopers? Green Stormtroopers? Pink Stormtroopers? Or perhaps even (Shudders) rainbow-colored Stormtroopers?!
What do you folks out there think about these new Stormtroopers? Yay, or nay?SITH TROOPER REVEALED - The Rise of Skywalker New Stormtrooper Reaction

I have to admit this dude looks pretty cool, but I don't see what the big deal is....I mean J.J. Abrams is a great action director, but lazy on creativity.....I hope "Rise of Skywalker" is good, but we will see....I won't be seeing it on opening day though....

There is this rumor on the Internet that "Rise of Skywalker" is going to use time travel as a plot device....I think there may be some truth to this......reasons are below....
1. J.J. Abrams is a copy-cat & is likely going to borrow elements from "Avengers Endgame".....I mean that is what this guy does....copy past success of others.....
2. After the disaster of "Last Jedi"....& its ridiculous ending.....they almost have nowhere to go but back in time....
3. Disney knows most fans hate "Last Jedi" & they know they have to retcon that idiot Ruin Johnson.....& reaching back to past films for a plot device is somthing that might just work.....we'll see..

I couldn't agree more. Maybe they can go back in time and undo a lot of the mess that Rian Johnson created in "The Last Jedi". I guess we will find out in December.

Well, I finally displayed my collection in the spare room.....it helps my blood pressure go down you see, I can go back to the innocence of my childhood & then I remember how Disney has screwed this thing up so bad, my blood pressure starts to go up a bit.....at least they got "Solo" & "Rogue One" right......& I have to admit "The Force Awakens" I still have a soft spot for...I mean after all it was out when I met Star.

Yet another rumor is rampant about "Rise of Skywalker".....I think I may have touched on this before....in addition to the time travel rumor, the rumor now is that as a result of tampering with the past Rey will eventually settle on Tattoonie & become Shmi Skywalker.....this not only allows Jar Jar Abrams to rip off "Endgame" revisiting the past films, but he gets to rip off "The Terminator" too.....& just like with 2009's "Star Trek", they can create a new canon starting from "The Phantom Menace".....this would mean that Rey is Anikan's mother, Luke & Leia's grandmother & Kylo Ren's great grandmother....this does explain Daisy Ridley's comment about Rey & Kylo not being romantically involed, Daisy herself shot down that rumor in an interview, that there is no romance between Rey & Kylo, which supports this theory of her settling as Shmi in TPM, personally I don't really have a problem with them taking an "Endgame" approach or do I have a problem with Rey eventually becoming Shmi, it would be a neat twist & would at least give "The Force Awakens" a reason to exist as long as they don't screw up the first six films, "Endgame" was careful not to screw up the previous Marvel films, so if Jar Jar Abrams takes the same approach, then I am o.k. with that, here is what I think is going to happen......
Rey, Finn & Poe along with Leia will find Lando, it will be Lando who has discovered the time-travel mechanism, Kylo will learn of this & attempt to destroy the Jedi from the events of TPM, he will meet Palpatine who will sense the dark side in him & Darth Maul will intervine, Kylo & the Knights of Ren will take on Maul & Maul will wipe them out, Kylo realizing he is no match for Maul will flee, Kylo will then attempt to stop the Clone troopers from assisting Yoda to Geonosis as he visits scenes from AOTC in an attempt to see the Jedi killed in the arena, he will then face off against Yoda, again fleeing, Rey & Lando will follow Kylo & try to stay out of history's way, Kylo will then witness Anakin & Obi-Wan's Mustafar fight from afar then will flee as he is intercepted by Lando & Rey, Chewbacca having witnessed the events of ROTS will help Lando & Rey not interfere with the events....Kylo then realizes he can kill Luke on Bespin & attempts to intercept Luke as he arrives in TESB but is stopped by Lando & Rey, Lando knowing what happens will tell Rey where to find Kylo, Kylo will then flee once more, Kylo will once again return to the events of TPM on Tattoonie, Rey & Lando along with Chewie, Leia, Poe & Finn will all follow, it is here that Kylo will attempt to run over Rey as seen in the teaser, because Endor is close to Tattoonie in canon, the gang will venture to a nearby planet where they will find the Death Star II's dish, Palpatine force ghost will be present & will attack Rey, Kylo will realize that Rey is indeed his great grandmother & will face off against Palpatine whose spirit is so powerful that Kylo will redeem himself & die saving Rey who by this time has been inpregnated by Palpatine as his force ghost attacked her, Rey will then have vision of all the events that transpired in the first six films, she will then be visited by Luke's force ghost who will inform her that she is carrying Anakin & therefore must settle on Tattoonie as Shmi in a post destination paradox & give birth to Anakin who will bring the Force into balance as he witnessed in ROTJ.......this will also explain why Shmi allowed Anakin to go off with Qui-Gon, Rey as Shmi will have the ability to sheild herself from the Force which will explain Qui-Gon not sensing it in her.....she will also have the ability to communicate with Anakin when she is taken by the Tuskens in AOTC thus explaining Anakin's visions in AOTC......& let's not forget Shmi & Rey do look a lot alike.......this is what I think is going to happen....or somthing close to this......if so it may not be all that bad....this would also explain why Jar Jar asked George Lucas for input.

Great analysis, Roman! If even half of this is true then it definitely makes me excited to see "The Rise of Skywalker"!
Who knows... This last chapter in the Skywalker Saga may not turn out to be so bad after all?

CNBC money market watch has come out & said that "Star Wars" is dying a slow death, merchandise sales are way down, Disneyland's "Galaxy's Edge" theme park is not breaking attendance records like they all hoped it would, reservations for the park have been non-existent......if I were a current Disney shareholder I would be questioning Bob Iger's leadership.....this was a major cash cow 10 or 15 years ago.....of course I think we all know where the problem is.....

Well, it seems George Lucas put several clauses in the contract when he sold Lucasfilm to Disney in 2012....
1. Under no circumstances can Disney remake the first six films...EVER!!!...not even upon his death...
2. Any characters he created that get used in a Disney SW film he is to get 25% of the box office take...
Although not confirmed....this is likely true....it explains why Disney is trying to push their characters & ignore Lucas' characters.....it also explains why their new theme park "Galaxy's Edge" is failing, there are no references to the first six films anywhere in that park....just Sequel characters....heaven forbid they have to give Lucas a cut....greedy bastards...

That all may change though.....Disney has confirmed that instead of an "Obi-Wan" film we are now going to get a "Obi-Wan" series....Ewan McGregor is said to have signed on & will be returning as the character....I sure hoped he demanded script approval...."I Would"!!!

"It was all a dream! It was all a dream would be the best possible solution." ~ Ben Shapiro "Ben Shapiro gives his insights on how to fix Star Wars following the disastrous film 'The Last Jedi.'"
How Shapiro Would Fix Star Wars That would have been the last Star Wars film that I watched except.. Female "here you guys watch this DVD it is the best movie Ever!!" Me " Is Han Solo in it?" Female "Yeah, he dies in it." ... For whatever reason she couldn't understand why telling us that he dies in it would not spoil the film. ... Ben Shapiro can be interesting to watch. However his opponents in debate are so frequently unarmed to debate him that it appears to have armed his ego in a negative way. Not asserting that Ben is not more intelligent than the average bear. However, with editing and the opposition often being 'off the street ' individuals to his University talks. Shapiro quite often slays his opposition in frequently humorous fashion.

Typo She couldn't understand why telling us that he dies in the film would spoil the movie for us. Haha! Yeah, I hate when that happens. I really enjoyed "The Force Awakens", even with all of it's faults. I was kinda bummed when they killed off Han Solo though. I was hoping that he and Luke Skywalker would get back together again for one last adventure, but J.J. Abrams totally missed the ball on that opportunity. It's still a pretty fun flick though.

Speaking of can we go back in time when the most common thing to run into online was ludicrous assertions about Michelle Obama being a tranny instead of ubiquitous assertions about racism being not only public enemy number one but present everywhere in politics.
...
Admittedly seeing Joan Rivers say Michelle is a tranny was a hoot.
What surprised me most was the absence of a bunch of rebuttal videos asserting that Joan Rivers is a tranny.
I figure Joan mysteriously died shortly after her assertion and trolls decided let this one pass.

At any rate, if I do leave, I know that I will miss it here.
There is just nothing on the horizon getting out of this abyss of shelterless people.
Living in San Francisco it is extremely hard to grasp these charges expressed of racism by so many.
This place is as tolerant as any that I have experienced. Even still I absolutely have seen preferential even prejudice against caucasians.
Even in the last week, I saw a new category placed in the ethnicity list. Italian American. You know it is getting bad for caucasians when the Italians want their own demographic choice apart from caucasian.
Further caucasian is nearly always listed as 'white'.
In my mind I know it will take time to rebuild but better than just spinning my wheels here not knowing for certain whether or not I will even be sleeping indoors this or that night.
The worst part is I don't do drugs. It is precisely the drug epidemic that makes getting services so difficult.
Not to go unnoticed the sheer number of people employed to be 'helping'.
I have been going to the only place I can specifically for veterans for nearly a year. I occasionally get food and I get my mail there . That's it. Most the staff know me by name. Why do they have so many staff? I am no closer to housing than I was nineteen months ago.
Not surprising there was a ballot initiative to create an oversight committee to review where all the funding to help shelterless people is going. It was removed from the ballot before it could be voted on.
That seems to be a very large red flag to me.

I seriously don't know how you have managed to survive out there this long. I don't think that I would be able to last more than a week before I would have had enough and hightailed it out of there. Where I live may not be the nicest area to live in, but at least we don't have homeless, drugged-up zombies shambling through the streets, and trash, needles, and feces lying around everywhere.
