Don't believe that I have ever seen that one? I have only watched a handful of Chuck Norris movies. But one that I remember being really good was "Silent Rage". Saw that one in the theater and was riveted. Chuck vs. an unstoppable Michael Myers-like psycho. The final fight between them was excellent. Silent Rage (1982) - Official Trailer | Chuck Norris

As I have said, most remakes suck...but every now & then Hollywood gets one right....one they got right is 1993's "The Fugitive", a cool suspense edge of your seat thriller....but would it be just as good if it didn't have Harrison Ford & Tommy Lee Jones??.....those guys made this one fun to watch, especially Jones.. ..

A lot of people didn't like "Dragnet" (1987).....but this was more of a tribute to the show not so much a remake.....Dan Aykroyd & Tom Hanks really played off each other in this one....yes, there are some dumb moments...but overall entertaining & fun to watch ...

Anyone who has followed this thread has probably figured out I am a Mel Gibson fan, one film that is a favorite of mine with Mel is another tribute more than a remake is 1994's "Maverick"....it is clear everyone had a blast making this film...even him & Jodie Foster actually have chemistry believe it or not.... ...

I actually enjoyed the Ghostbusters remake. It was a fun movie. Sure, it's nowhere near as good as the original, but I liked it. Been meaning to watch it again to see what I think on a 2nd viewing because every time that I read people commenting about it, it's almost unanimous that the majority of people who watched it absolutely hated it. Speaking of the Ghostbusters, there is a new sequel coming out for it next year... GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE - Official Trailer (HD)

Yep... I just heard on the radio this morning that a lot of big movies have been pushed back for release as far back as sometime in 2022! Yikes! Let's hope that it doesn't take that long to get normal life back into order? Heck, there are supposed to be a few Covid-19 vaccines expected to be released by the end of this year/earlier next year. Plus, there are other existing treatments already out there for it, so to me, waiting until 2022 seems like overkill and a little ridiculous to be in lockdown mode until then. That's well over a year from now, and we have already been in lockdown for over a half a year now. I say, enough is enough already.

Speaking of Fan Films, here is another really well-done one based on a 2000 A.D. comic's character, Johnny Alpha aka "The Strontium Dog". He is a futuristic Bounty Hunter with mutant powers. I have all of his comics from years ago and always wished that Hollywood would make a feature film about him but they never did. So this is the best that we will probably ever see of Johnny Alpha's adventures on the screen. Search/Destroy: A Strontium Dog/2000 AD and Starlord Fan Film "The year is 2180 - strontium-90 fallout from a series of nuclear wars has created an underclass of mutants.
Outcasts from society, despised by the ‘norms’ and given only the dirtiest and most dangerous jobs, hunting down the criminal scum of the universe, across countless star systems and even across time.
Johnny Alpha is one such mutant, working for the Search/Destroy Agency, hunting down criminals for the Galactic Crime Commission, aided by his trusty Viking sidekick, Wulf Sternhammer."

That is a cool fan film...I am not familiar with Johnny Alpha....how I do not know....I thought I knew all these Sci-Fi characters.....oh, well....yeah, why hasn't Hollywood done this one? I know, right? I have watched that fan film more than a few times now since it first came out and every time I am amazed that it was made by fans and not a major studio. The costumes, special effects and action scenes are top-notch and equal to anything that Hollywood has ever done. If you can find a collection of Strontium Dog comics for a good price I would definitely buy them. The stories in them were exciting and incredible. Each issue left you wanting more and you could not wait to read the next one to see what they would do next... Just like the best comic books do.
