Aww, that's a great picture, Roman! Thanks for sharing it with us. She looks so happy to be with you. I really miss her too and wish that she were still here with us. I am glad that you two were at least able to spend a little time together with each other.

I am surprised that she never posted her real image over on the Amazon forums in her profile pic? She looks like she was a real Cutie.

Star didn't post her pic on Amazon for the same reason a lot of us didn't, she didn't want any snide remarks directed at her, Star, like most women was a bit insecure about her looks, my ex-wife was the same way, I think women in general try to compare themselves to other women a little to much, men don't really compare themselves to other men, men just don't care for the most part, I told Star many times how pretty she was, I told her not all women have to be super models, not all men can be Brad Pitt, we are who we are, we don't come into the world choosing how we are going to look, I was hesitate to post the pic, but you Rock & Bittersweet once remarked that you had seen my facebook picture when I was using my real name on Amazon a few years back, so I figured why not, I remember 3 years ago on the night on Feb 22 well into the morning hours of Feb 23 me & Star posted on Amazon about 50 to a 100 posts, many of them of a sexual nature, I was suprised Amazon didn't remove them, I also remember you two going back & forth about the posts, I specifically remember Bittersweet calling me a real-life Christian Grey.......that pic was on her last day with me......hours later she was on her way back to California, If I had only known I would have gotten more pics of us......however the below pics are of us.....her favorite of me & my favorite of her. Yeah, well, I can't say that I really blame her for not using her real image on her profile pic over on Amazon. I know how some women can be when they start acting catty and jealous towards other women. But I was always curious to know what she looked like and now I know. Oh, and you are the spitting image of Conan the Barbarian, by the way.

Don't know if I am a spitting of Conan, however, I will accept the compliment, I did sorta look like that 25 years ago, I wasn't as buff as Arnold, but did have the hair, but like Arnold, age hasn't been nice to me, although many say I don't look that much older, not smoking or drinking may have somthing to do with that, my ex-wife is a smoker & looks 10 years older, Star(Lisa) was six months older than the ex-wife & looked younger than the ex, I stopped smoking at 22, I didn't need to, I got enough secondary smoke with the ex-wife....I think we know what Bittersweet looks like, I know what her Amazon pal Allie looks like & I think I remember seeing a pic of you Rock on Amazon years ago, I definately remember the "KISS" photo.

So you're a little bit older now, ain't we all. Actually, now that I think about it, with that beard of yours you look more like King Conan. All you need now is a crown. I have posted numerous pictures of myself over the years in my profile. Yes, including the one with me painted up as Ace Frehley from KISS a few years ago. Now that was a lot of fun. Of course I had to wear a rock star wig for that one because I can't have long hair at my my current job. Plus my hair has thinned and receded over the years. But back in the day I used to wear it down to my shoulders. Nowadays people tell me that I look like Mark Wahlberg, which I take as a compliment, even though I am 10 years older than he is. Plus, I think that I actually resemble his brother Donnie more. I remember seeing Allie's pic once. She was a blonde if I'm not mistaken? And of course we pretty much know what BitterSweet looks like. As for smoking, I quit for over twenty years but I started it up again about a year ago or so. I know that it's not healthy for you but I love a good smoke.

King Conan....there you go....yep, Allie had blond hair & speaking of Mark Wahlberg, me, Star & the ex-wife are all the same age as Wahlberg, Evan McGregor, Shannen Doherty, Megyn Kelly, Kelly Ripa, Matt Damon, Jennifer Connolly, Jim Acosta, Corey Feldman, Christina Applegate, Bridgett Moyahan, Tonya Harding & Chris Jericho.
Speaking of KISS.....everyone is talking about the "Farwell Tour"....the response has been mixed but I have to say Gene Simmons who is nearing 70 sure doesn't look his age, even with the makeup he still looks the same, I always thought Ace Freley had the coolest outfit & look, too bad they couldn't get along, what is it with Rock Bands???....it always seems that the lead singer & guitarist can never get along, David Lee Roth & Eddie Van Halen, Don Dokken & George Lynch, Glenn Frey & Don Henley, the list goes on.

She wouldn't tell at first, she was afraid I would want someone younger, but I would rather be with someone who has been down the same road as me, don't get me wrong, younger women are fine, but I can't imagine being with a woman my daughter's age, it wouldn't feel right, I go to meet her parents & they are my age, can't do it, Star's personality won me over, not to mention having the same interests as me, it didn't matter if she was older or younger, we just happened to be the same age she was 5 months older than me,
I forgot to mention Sen. Ted Cruz...me & him were born on the same day.....who knew.

I just finished binge-watching the "Star Wars" films on Blu-Ray, this was the first time I watched the films on Blu-Ray & I have to say Blu-Ray rocks.....I was a bit worried that there would be playback problems given some reviews on Amazon but all played perfectly fine, no playback problems at all....I also watched them in chronological order.....& here are my thoughts on that "The Phantom Menace".....this film is improved big time on Blu-Ray.....on DVD there was a lot of saturation in skin tones & color....on Blu-Ray the skin tones are right & there is no more color saturation, it is as if this one was filmed on digital camera lenses too which it was not.....the picture is perfect & better than it has ever been...& we get a digital Yoda that is more in line with the later films. "Attack of the Clones".....because this one was filmed on digital lenses there isn't much difference than that on DVD, the only difference is you can see the hair strands of the actors, I know many did not like this one & it does have some pacing issues but overall I like this one, the Obi-wan/Jango fight, the Geonosian battle at the end is visually stunning as well as Yoda wielding a lightsaber. "Revenge of the Sith".....again, not much more different than DVD, but this one is still my No.1 favorite, I wouldn't change a thing....this one was perfect!!...that's right I said it! "Solo: A Star Wars Story".....looks a lot better on Blu-Ray....the darker scenes have more clarity now, this one gets a bad rap, but I like it, it is downright fun, the chemistry between the cast members are good, Donald Glover nails Lando to a tee & Emilia Clark is hot....Ron Howard gave us a fun movie & it shows. "Rogue One".....just like "Solo"...Disney got it right, this one like "Solo" links "Revenge of the Sith to "A New Hope" better....& is a great set-up & Felicity Jones is no doubt one of hottest women on the planet. "A New Hope"....for a film that is 40 years old it almost looks brand new on Blu-Ray....however there are some grain, but it is not distracting....I think they did all they could with the original print, I don't think they could have given us a better print....the color tones are perfect. "The Empire Strikes Back"....of all the films this one has the best pacing, there is never a dull moment, no matter how many times I see this one, it always amazes me how they were so ahead of the curve in 1980, & this one looks awesome on Blu-Ray. "Return of the Jedi".....on Blu-Ray, this one looks good, however it is still my least favorite of all the films, I don't hate it, but would do it differently, Irvin Kershner who directed "Empire" says he regrets not doing this one, don't we all..... "The Force Awakens"....this one already shined on DVD, so there isn't much difference on Blu-Ray, despite its faults, J.J. Abrams gave us a fun movie, he may be a copy cat but the man is a good director no doubt. that other sorry-excuse for a "Star Wars" movie I can't rate because I refuse to watch it again let alone own it.

Yep, I agree, Revenge of the Sith is a really great movie. George Lucas really outdid himself with that one and created a Star Wars masterpiece with it. How I would currently rank the films in order of my favorites, the original Star Wars, and Revenge of the Sith would have to tie for the #1 spot.
1.) Star Wars: A New Hope, Revenge of the Sith 2.) The Empire Strikes Back 3.) Return of the Jedi 4.) Rogue One 5.) Solo: A Star Wars Story 6.) The Phantom Menace 7.) Attack of the Clones 8.) The Force Awakens 9.) The Last Jedi
Wow, that was harder ranking them then I thought it would be. I may change my mind on the order some of them are in after I watch them all again.
Y'know, I have had the first 6 Star Wars films on Blu-ray for well over a year now and still haven't watched them yet. I am going to have to remedy that situation soon. The only ones that I don't own a copy of yet are the Solo movie, and Last Jedi. I definitely plan on buying the Solo movie sometime, and will probably buy Last Jedi too whenever I can get it cheap or find a good used copy of it.

One of the best scenes in Revenge of the Sith was the battle between Obi-Wan and General Grievous. I never get tired of watching it. Obi-Wan was such a bad ass in that fight. Star Wars Episode III: Obi-Wan vs. General Grievous

Yeah, General Greivous was a cool villian, right up there with Darth Maul & Jango Fett....too bad all these villians had limited screen time....if they ever do the "Old Republic" Darth Malgus would be an awesome Sith villian from "Decieved" set 4,000 years before the films....former wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin would be the perfect Darth Malgus.....I think the "Old Republic" will see films down the road once Kathleen Kennedy is gone & she will be gone, "Captain Marvel" will probably not meet expectations nor will "Ep 9" & Disney CEO Bob Iger will be handed his walking papers just like Michael Eisner a decade ago was, the shareholders are not going to tolerate one box office failure after another & both "Marvel" & "Star Wars" is in trouble as a brand because of Iger's incompetence & when he is gone Kennedy will be gone with him, Marvel's Kevin Feige might get a pass if "Endgame" does well, if not, than it is endgame for Feige too......at the end of the day it is all about the money.....the shareholders don't have to defend themselves to the media like Bob Iger would if he fired Kennedy.

One of us should start a Star Wars thread. Seriously.
Anywhoo... If you want to see more of Darth Maul and General Grievous in action, you really need to watch the animated series, "The Clone Wars". It is well worth the watch and pretty darned good for an animated series.
Captain Marvel is already bombing at the box office and it hasn't even hardly opened yet. I know that I am in no hurry to see it any time soon.
As for Star Wars Episode 9, well, we will just have to wait and see?

Well....it was one year ago today that I lost my precious Star.....there has not been a day gone by that I haven't thought about her....I have researched her condition even more & have learned that it affects about 6 million people in the U.S a year......it is where the heart begins to fail & doesn't pump blood properly & therefore doesn't remove excess water from our bodies, causing swelling in our legs, feet, hips, & arms....it is the excess fluid that eventually begins to move to our lungs causing a chronic cough, a cough that Star had real bad in our last conversations....the life expectancy after a proper diagnosis is about 3 years, whether she knew this I will never know, I doubt she did......she didn't deserve to have this happen to her....this is why I have no tolerance for people who are hell bent on hating, whether it be Trump, or a person of a different race, you name it,.....instead of hating.... people should be thankful they have another day to breathe, since I lost Star I have really re-evaluated my life & have come to realize that death is not an option as so many people like to think it is.....we are all going out at some point, the only question is, will we be proud of how we lived our life?......I miss Star every day & will continue to miss her, but because of this loss I am more in touch with my spirituality than ever before & hope that on the day of my judgement I can look back & know that I did right by people..... This is my tribute to my Precious Star....I love her & miss her very much.

What is it about Dentist & their bedside manner?.....we are already nervous being there, we don't need to be reminded of our screw-up!!!!.....I need a tooth pulled in the far back....I am not prone to cavities, never have been....but one got this tooth & broke a piece off....& they said my blood pressure was a little to high to pull it.....so I have to go back next week....of course it was high....I didn't want to be there to begin with, I was nervous & they have to give a lecture about how I should have not let it get that way...."duhh""....them & their rude bedside manner would give anyone high blood pressure!!!......I think Dentist in general need to be taught some people skills.....the f***ing rob you of your wallet & then think they have a right to lecture.....maybe if they were not such f***ing theives....we would all take better care of our teeth & not need work done!!......I tried to explain to these knuckleheads that it was a little hard to get work done years ago when I was paying child support which ended in 2015....didn't exactly have alot of money laying around you know....now I got to have some work done in two weeks....hopefully if they don't keep pi**ing me off & raising my blood pressure that is....ok I am done ranting now!

I know how you feel, Roman. I had a dentist visit last January and they told me that my blood pressure was high as well. I told the assistant that I had been working all night just before my appointment, and I probably had a little too much coffee to drink too which can help raise your blood pressure. Plus, I was a little nervous about my visit there. But she acted like I was about to die or something! She asked me if my doctor is aware of it, and do I take blood pressure medication and started lecturing me about my diet, blah blah, blah. Now, I monitor my blood pressure every now and then as I have my own blood pressure kit at home, so I know that it's not too high. But later that week I took it and it was still a little high so I've been cutting back on a lot of my favorite salty foods like cheese, and pickles etc. (Although I'm eating a bag of salt & vinegar potato chips right now.) Plus, I had been having a lot of soup this past winter so I'm sure that didn't help any either. Anyway, so I've been stepping up my potassium intake these last couple of months now like drinking coconut water every day, and eating bananas more, and drinking a lot of low sodium V-8 juice and stuff like that, and it's getting back down to a more normal level now.

In 2016 when I was heavily involved with Star I had to get a health check-up as a work-related insurance renwal.....this was the first time I & many others were required by our employer to do so.....my blood pressure was normal, last year in 2018 it was a little high.....having lost Star & my Uncle both to heart failure I decided that it was time to make some changes....since September I have not had a coke which has been difficult but I have done without it, I haven't had a steak since last summer....I used to get those frozen Tombstone Pizzas.....not anymore....not since last summer....I used to salt everything, not anymore, in turn I have lost 25 pounds, I have eliminated high salty foods.....& yet it was still high at the Dentist office....after I left I went to a clinic & had it checked again.....the small 2 digit number had droppped back to normal, the other number had dropped but was still a little high.....bottom line is.....when we get nervous our blood pressure spikes, health care providers I think have an obligation to make people feel as comfortable as possible period......we don't need lectures or talking down to....we know we f***ed up.....that is why we are there.....

Well, I went & saw both "Captain Marvel" & "Avengers Endgame" & I have to say both were good.....here is a rundown....
"Captain Marvel"......I admit I was impressed with this one, I am still trying to figure out what all the fuss was about...yes, Brie Larson may have said some crazy stuff, but I thought she did o.k. as the lead, her performance was not any better or worse than the other characters.....although Jeremy at "Geeks & Gamers" continues to harp about her....I am beginning to think he just wants to bang her....come on Jeremy...she wasn't that bad....& she is hot no doubt....all & all I enjoyed it more than I thought I would & will add it to my Marvel collection once it comes out.
"Avengers Endgame".....this is 3 hours long, but you hardly notice it, I have to say this was a sweet payoff & it honored all the films that came before it....I loved it & can't wait to own it, however it is definately the end...it felt like a T.V. show ending....I won't spoil the ending but I now feel a bit sad over it.....whatever they do after this will be nothing like what we got the last ten years.
I highly recommed you see this one on the big screen Rock....you won't regret it.....be sure & see "Ant Man & Wasp" if you haven't already....because it ties a subplot into "Endgame.

I think Jeremy at "Geeks & Gamers" is reading to much into this video where Jeremy Renner & Brie Larson are promoting "Endgame".....speculation is Renner doesn't like her & doesn't want to be there...that may be or given her sexy appearance here he may be trying not get a you-know-what, you don't exactly want to adjust your pants on camera....you all decide.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBjzZSDSnuc

After seeing "Avengers Endgame" I finally decided to watch "Gaurdians of the Galaxy" for the first time, I did try to watch it years ago, but was not fully attuned to the MCU like I am now, so I didn't quite get it, plus I was tired, but yesterday I enjoyed more than ever before, I also watched "Black Panther" for the first time as well, I thought it was simply awesome, I even watched "Infinity War" again & found it better the second time around & I just ordered Jennifer Garner's "Elektra".....how this one got by me I will never know.

I really liked GOTG too. I own it on Blu-ray and have watched it a few times now. GOTG 2 is really good too and I've seen that one a couple of times now on Netflix. I thought that Black Panther was just okay though. The action scenes and special effects were pretty incredible, but I felt that the story was kind of lacking. I may give it another chance some day and see if I like it better the next time around though. I just saw the new trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man flick, "Far From Home" and that one is looking really good too. I think that it will be a fun movie and am planning to go see it when it comes out. Endgame is currently breaking all kinds of box office records and some people are speculating that it will eventually beat Avatar and take the #1 spot over the coming months. Marvel movies are really making a killing at the box office lately.

"Marvel movies are really making a killing at the box office lately."
That is because they are done right.....you would think Lucasfilm would learn somthing from all this....however 3 out of 4 SW films have been good....."Last Jedi" still sticks out as an atrocity to SW....despite what Disney says, Ruin Johnson is not getting his trilogy, because no one is going to go see it & Disney knows this even though they won't admit it....they have to know he is hated by the fans & they are not going to gamble millions of dollars knowing this....."Rise of Skywalker's" box office take will be the defining moment as to whether Kathleen Kennedy gets fired or not.
