They cancelled the Obi-Wan movie too....maybe it is just as well, they (Disney) clearly do not know what they are doing, they have no vision, no concept of this fantasy world embraced for 40 years, I knew "Star Wars" was in trouble once they eliminated the "Expanded Universe" books written by authors who were true passionate fans of "Star Wars" & who got things right, when "Force Awakens" came out I knew it would be a love letter to the fans which it was, with "Rogue One" they got everything right, what could go wrong with "Last Jedi"...EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!.....I think that most in Hollywood especially Kathleen Kennedy & Ruin Johnson probably have "Trump Derangement Syndrome" & wanted to insert their crap political narratives which have NO PLACE IN THE "STAR WARS" UNIVERSE!!!!!! into "Last Jedi"......UUGGGGHHHH!!!!!!.....here is my take on Ep 9, they are hedging their bets that J.J. Abrams can undo Ruin Johnson's damages, but J.J. Abrams although a good director who knows how to make slam-bang action films is no savior, he has no vision, he could not even give "Lost"..one of the best shows on T.V. a proper ending it deserved, Abrams has no creative mindset, so with that being said Ep 9 will likely be a colossal failure & Disney shareholders will not only fire Kennedy but President of Disney Bob Iger as well....only then will the fans get the films they want, at the end of the day it is about the money, not political SJW narratives.

Frankly at this point though, I don't know what J.J. Abrams can do to save this latest trilogy of films, but I guess that we will eventually see? Well, we may not be getting a Boba Fett movie for awhile yet, but the recent online buzz has been over the upcoming live action Star Wars series, "The Mandalorian", which could be a pretty cool new series if done right? I forgot to mention "Solo A Star Wars Story"......I didn't see this in the theatre, after losing Star(Lisa) my mind just wasn't on it & then my Uncle passed the week it came out, I did however watch it on DVD awhile back & I have to say it was actually pretty good, I was sure I would hate it, there are some-cringe worthy moments, but overall not bad, Woody Harrelson really made this one fun to watch, never cared much for Woody as an actor although he was very good as Demi Moore's fustrated husband in "Indecent Proposal" that has been the only time I liked him as an actor, but I have to say his smuggler character in "Solo" is cool & fun to watch, he sorta shapes Han into the guy we know later & Han shoots first here, won't spoil it here, Donald Glover nailed Lando big time, it is clear that Glover watched "Empire Strikes Back" to get the character down & nailed it he did, Paul Bettany is a cool villian as well & Emilia Clark is no doubt easy on the eyes, it is a shame that "Last Jedi" tainted "Solo", if it had come before then It likely would have done better I think, the guy playing Chewbacca had the character done to a tee, Alden Emerich as Solo is still questionable because although he favors Ford somewhat, he sounds nothing like him, but he does o.k......I credit Ron Howard for making this one work, there are a few political narratives, but not many, they did tone that crap down big time here, overall it is a fun movie & the cameo at the end, well it will satisfy "Clone Wars" fans.

Speaking of racism, one thing that irked me about, "The Force Awakens" was that the First Order was basically just a bunch of white evil guys trying to take over the galaxy again, besides Finn of course, who was only forced to fight with the First Order against his will. I mean, C'mon. They could have at least thrown in some evil characters of color in there, and a few evil alien races as well for a little bit more realism. |

With ratings declining week after week, Vince still doesn't get it.....weeks ago Professional wrestler Roman Reigns relinquished his World Heavyweight Universal Championship belt after announcing that he has leukemia which is going to require an extensive leave of absense, Vince has spent the last few years pushing Reigns to be the next Hogan, Stone Cold, John Cena.... now we have Braun Strowman who has become a fan favorite & is practically indestructable in the ring, this guy manhandled Brock Lesnar like a rag doll, because of his size & strength & his fastness in the ring, he is no doubt worthy of the belt & is what Champions are & should be made of, so naturally him & Lesnar wrestled for Reigns's vacated belt & what happened, they gave it back to Lesnar who is a part-timer who makes rare appearances at best, other wrestlers have to make weekly appearances, especially those with titles, if they don't defend their titles on a weekly basis, they are stripped of their titles, however this rule doesn't seem to apply to Lesnar...WHY???......it was Strowman's moment to shine & step in for Reigns as the big push, but NOOOO....once again Vince McMahon has proven that he should retire & retire soon before he runs the company he built into the ground!!!

Back in the 80's we didn't have social media, so crazy people have always been with us, however social media have given the nutcases a platform & the crap news (fake news) media has given them the spotlight, maybe these people are on too much medication, anti-despressants alters brain chemistry & sadly too many people are on them in this country, maybe that is it, another thing is that today's millenial generation have not been taught tolarence like our generation was, the snowflakes out there have been coddled to much whether by their parents or these knucklehead liberal college professors, these people are not prepared for the real world & many never will be, so lets put them on medication, I have been on my job almost 30 years now, I have seen it all, all walks of life, I seen evil people, I have dealt with evil up close & personal, there are no safe spaces in the real world, we were taught to deal with disappointment, today's generation throws a hissy fit if they don't get their way, the election of Trump showed how pathetic these people are.....When I think back to the 80's, late night comics like Johnny Carson didn't trash Reagan, news media outlets trashed him a little, but there was still some respect for the office, Tip O'Neill fought with Reagan on many issues both still had the country's best interest at heart, Clinton & Newt Ginrich hated each other but even they had the country's best interest at heart, now Chuck (communist) Shcumer & Nancy(dumb)Pelosi wants to destroy Trump at all cost, screw the country.....did we not learn anything from the Civil War???

Historically the American people have always balanced out the the powers in Washington D.C. so last night's Democratic victory in the House was really no surprise to me, In the 80's it was Reagan being forced to work with the Democrats led by Tip 'O Neill, the 90's saw Bill Clinton being forced to work with the Republicans led by Newt Ginrich, Bush Jr's last two years was the Democrats, Obama was forced to work with the Republicans led by John Boehner later Paul Ryan, now Trump is going to be forced to work with Democraps, the difference here is Trump is willing to do so, however I feel that instead them working with him, we are going to see a coo attempt to get him removed, these are not the Democraps of the 80's who worked with Reagan, these are left-wing-Marxists nut jobs.....& with mentally impaired Nacy Pelosi leading the charge....man... are we in trouble.....the good news is they will be voted out again in two years because of their bad behavior & Trump will likely win re-election by a landslide & the House & Senate will be controlled again by the Republicans....unless the Democraps clean up their act & work with Trump which I don't see happening....too many of them have "Trump Derangement Syndrome".

Yeah, I guess that I jumped the gun there. Democrats took control of the House this election. How did that ever happen? Oh, well, we are still in good hands. Republicans still control the majority of the Senate, and that is the most important thing. The Democrats will most likely continue on with their agenda against trying to force Trump out of office, which in the end will only end up backfiring on them and secure Trump's victory in 2020.
