This is what might possibly could have chased after me when I was a kid years ago in the Upper Peninsula? A large black Timber Wolf? I don't know, I didn't really get a very good look at it because I didn't waste any time staring at it. I just ran like hell to get away from it as fast as I could. As soon as I made it out of the woods and into the clearing it suddenly backed off and stayed hidden within the woods.
IS THIS A REAL MYSTERIOUS DIRE WOLF CAUGHT ON FILM?

Another memory from my youth spent in the Upper Peninsula... My uncle owned some beachfront property and a cottage on Lake Superior in the 70's. We would all meet there for a few days every summer. My cousin and I would ride these cool, little Honda minibikes through the woods for some fun and there was this one area on the trail that had this old abandoned cabin that was concealed partially under dirt and grass as if to try to stay hidden. Every time that I drove by that cabin I would get the chills up and down my spine for some reason, and never once did I ever get the urge to stop and explore it.

My cousins were wealthy compared to us. It was always a blast visiting them. They had it all, Cool Hot Rods, Snowmobiles, Dirt Bikes, Mini Bikes, they even owned a 6-wheel all-terrain vehicle that would drive through most anything and could even float in the water like a boat. I will watch that video soon as possible and give my thoughts on it afterwards. |

This story has it all! Grey Aliens, Men in Black, mysterious lights in the sky... Do I believe it? Yup. Sure do. I have heard of many encounters similar to this one over the years for them all to be just a hoax. That is why I always sleep with a good weapon or two by my bedside. And as the video also explains, calling out in the name of Jesus seems to also help during encounters such as these, for some reason? That monster hunter with the machete at the beginning of the story sounds like a real Badass! I would really like to buy him a drink or two and have a little chat with him some day. |

Sounds like a sweet deal you have there at your job. I can't imagine working at the same place for over thirty years. Most jobs that I have ever had lasted at the most around 10 years or so. Wait... I have actually been working security for 12 years now. But it has been at several different locations over the years. I still miss working at my old supermarket job. I did everything there except cashiering. They asked me if I wanted to do that but I said no way. Though over the years that I worked there I pretty much did everything else that you could possibly do. It kept you busy and the hours would fly by compared to doing security work where the hours seem to drag on forever. An 8 hour shift can feel like twelve hours sometimes. |

It hasn't always been that way, I have seen the worst in people when it comes to management, people that would make some of the world's dictators proud......although most managers have been o.k......there are at 5 or 6 that would have made Hitler proud.....the first was way back in 1991.....this guy didn't like me, he was always out to get me, some of it I admit was probably deserved, I was chasing my ex-wife & got distracted more than once......so he gets a pass......the worst one I ever saw was there from 2002 to 2004.....I call her "Devil Wears Prada" because that movie is about her.....this woman was pure evil, always out to get people, always mad at someone somewhere in that store, I don't think she ever had a good day, I can't even remember her ever smiling, our District manager was just as bad & naturally they hated each other....it was like "Alien vs Predator"...whoever wins we all lose".....I had never seen a District manager so feared in my life....she ended up filing a harassment suit against him which ended both of their tenures there, then in 2010 I had this knucklehead boss who was a jerk, we did not get along at all & he was always out to get me, him & his "Godfather" management chump.....dude looked like a mafia goon, I used to call them "The Godfather" & The Schyster".......they got moved, then in 2017 we had this manager with Trump Derangemnet Syndrome who attacked everyone after Trump won the election...before hand he was o.k., after Trump won he became unstable so much that he got fired.....yeah, sometimes I wonder how I have survived all those years, even last year we had a jerk manager, a younger guy that didn't know anything, everyday he would ask dumb questions like "what is the plan for today"...& I would say "the same plan as everyday".....everyone hated this guy, he was such an idiot, now we have this co-manager that is always angry, never smiles, I personally don't have a problem with her, but she definately needs to get laid.....this is why I have no tolerance for those crybabies on "Twitter".....they have no idea what the real world is like.....none of those crybabies could do what I do or put up with things I have put up with.....a bunch of losers on "Twitter" that would never survive at my job.

Oh, I know all-too-well about managers from hell. A lot of them are just arrogant assholes with chips on their shoulders. I got fired by this one douchebag manager 3 times, I kid you not... but the union brought me back each and every time. After that last time though they said that if there are any more problems then you will be let go for good. I finally just ended up quitting on my own after awhile. Most managers that I have ever dealt with were pretty much useless. There were some decent ones here and there, but those were few and far between. They would sometimes have two or three managers working at the exact same time and all they would do is walk around the store and pretend to be busy. Oh, sure, they would make suggestions about changing end displays and stuff like that every so often, or some other minor suggestions, but you don't need 3 managers working at the same time to do something like that. They would sometimes call me into the office and tell me to run across the street to get them some coffee from this fast food restaurant that we had over there. They would do this to us a lot. I mean, these morons weren't doing anything important... couldn't one of them manage to do it themselves? Anyway... One time they sent me over there for coffee and while I was there I ordered a meal for lunch, sat down and ate it, and then afterwards went to get their coffee order and return to the store. They asked me what the hell took so long and I just said, "Man, you wouldn't believe how crazy busy that place is today! I had to wait in line forever!"  Oh, I have so many more stories to tell about my experiences that I have had there over the years. But I'll save those for another day. |

The Supernaturalist Channel that I subscribe to recently uploaded a video about a person's encounters with what he calls a Dogman Variant 2. Apparently there are more than one type of Dogmen out there. I wonder what they are [Mutant freaks of nature? Some kind of mad laboratory genetic experiment?] and how long have they been here? Haha! Here is another example of how your mind can play tricks on you in the night... Last night around midnight I went out to get some fresh air and look at the stars when I noticed what looked to be like a pair of glowing green eyes staring back at me from the top of an evergreen tree in my neighbor's yard. I tried to get a closer look at it while wondering what the hell it could be. My mind raced with ideas... Was it some kind of an owl? Or some kind of other weird night creature? If so, why were it's eyes glowing so eerily green like that? It appeared to be blinking every so often at me. So I went back inside to grab a high-powered flashlight to get a better look at it and when I shined it on the "eyes" it turned out to be just a couple of those helium-filled party ballons, the kind that you can buy at the dollar store that are shiny and have a metallic finish to them, snagged in the tree. Apparently they were reflecting light off of them from various light sources close by such as a street light or a neighbor's porch light. I had to chuckle to myself with a sigh of relief. They really had me freaked out for a short time there.
