Okay, now here is a subject that I haven't covered yet on this thread... Customizations! That's right... Not only do clever and creative people make custom cars in real life, but, they also make custom Hot Wheels cars too! It is actually a big hobby for lots of artistic fans out there to create favorite movie, TV show, and other pop culture cars that Mattel, Matchbox, and other die-cast car companies haven't mass-produced... just yet. Heck, I have even made a few customized Hot-Wheels cars myself.
AnyWHo0oO00O0Ooo... Here's one of the character Sweet Tooth's van from the classic Playstation game "Twisted Metal"! I remember playing this game back in the day and was it ever a blast and a lot of fun to play. Not a Hot Wheel, but another recent Die Cast car purchase of mine is this cool Firefighter Jeep that I found at my local 7-11. It is produced by a company called Kinsmart, is 1/40 scale and has amazing attention to detail. You can't beat it for $7.00 dollars!

It is produced by a company called Kinsmart, is 1/40 scale and has amazing attention to detail. You can't beat it for $7.00 dollars! That is a pretty cool jeep......speaking of die cast cars I am trying to find Daisy Duke's yellow Plymouth Roadrunner with the black stripe from "Dukes of Hazzard" pilot episode.....ebay has it for like $200.00.....I need to get to one of those "Cooter's Place" stores.....I bet I could find it there for a lot less. |

Just found the Exclusive Deco Spider-Man 2099 Hot Wheels Monster Truck yesterday at Wal-Marts of all places. I hardly ever shop at Wal-Marts but I was in the area and figured that I'd stop by and check out their Hot Wheels section and couldn't believe it when I saw it hanging on the peg there. I immediately snatched it up. These things are super-rare and were supposed to be a Target exclusive only. So, if you have been looking for this one to add to your collection, don't give up. They're still out there, if you get lucky enough to find one.

Scoring that collector's item on a whim is always exciting....been there many times....just when I thought "Star Wars" collecting was over I have been getting some cool "Mandolorian" stuff on ebay....the cool stuff never makes it to the shelf at Wal Mart or Target....once in a while maybe.....something Disney & Hasbro still haven't figured out.....give us cool characters & fans will buy the merchandise!!.....not a hard concept unless your Disney or Hasbro!!

Nice! That is a cool car 🤗 That is from 2015’s “Furious 7”.......you could actually start with 2011’s “Fast Five” & not have missed much.....the original wasn’t that good....it was really a rip off of 1991’s “Point Break”.....the second....boring & the fourth one just plain awful.....haven’t seen “Tokyo Drift”.....but “Fast Five” introduces DeWayne Johnson who pretty much carries it & “Furious 6” & Jason Stathom & Kurt Russell pretty much carries “Furious 7”.....the only three l like. |

He is only in the first one, and in some flashback scenes in the 2nd one. “Death Race” is available to watch on Hulu....hopefully l will watch it soon....l have been so busy this past week....had to work 50 hrs because people don’t want to come to work....my helper said he hurt his arm....when l was his age l never hurt my arm & l was working too jobs back then.. Some people....they really know how to work the system don’t they... |

I am starting to think the CEO of Mattel probably hates the “Mad Max” films....the films have been licensed for other toy manufacturers, why not Mattel??... not unless Mattel thinks the licensing fee is too high....wouldn’t surprise me if they are just being greedy & don’t want to pay the licensing fee. |

The Mitsubishi Eclipse GS DOHC 16 V (1992)......  ...   .... This was my car....bought it in 1995.....me & my ex-wife in 1996......I miss this car like crazy.....it ran like a true sports car.....my own personal "Interceptor" .....aside from the usual oil change this car required no maintenance at all....that is until 2004 at 120,000 miles....then it became a money pit....starting with the oil gasket blowing....had to replace the whole oil manifold, then the air flow sensor had to be replaced, then came the car's CPU which had to be replaced, then a misfired cylinder which I just learned had a recall in 1998...  ......the final blow came in 2011....(yes, I had it 16 years)......the engine blew....one day a cloud of smoke emerged from under the hood.......I thought it was going to blow up....it didn't.....I finally had to part with it......despite all this.....it was a cool car.....unfortunately Mitsubishi was no Nissan or Toyota which is why you don't see them on the road anymore....... I am on a quest to get this car again.....If I still had it I am sure knuckleheads would be knocking on my door wanting to buy it, it being a 4 cylinder engine......In 2008 this happened when gas went up....I ended up having to put it in the garage in my first house so they would stop knocking on my door.... my current house has no garage.....  This car has to make a comeback......"Hot Wheels" needs to do this car or "Joyride Die Cast" .......if not Mitsubishi.....someone.....Nissan or Toyota could easily resurrect this car.......come on.....I want to relieve my youth |

One of the most dependable cars that I have ever owned was a red 1980 Toyota Carolla hatchback. I bought it used and it already had a lot of miles on it, but I needed a car quick and thought I would drive it for only a year or two until I could find something better. I ended up driving it for over 7 years, and in all that time it never gave me any trouble besides the usual maintenance issues, tires, exhaust, brakes, oil changes etc. It was a fun little car to cruise around in and I put many miles on it over the years. If I could get one now in mint condition I would not hesitate. |
