Hey... I thought that this might make for an interesting thread. I have always loved Hot Wheels ever since I can remember. Although I haven't really been purchasing them nearly as much as I used to, I thought it still might be fun to post some pics and memories of your favorite Hot Wheels cars. Or, your favorite die cast cars instead if you prefer?
Here's one of mine, of course... It is the Twang Thang! I mean, what could possibly be more cooler than combining a car with a guitar?

There's also another highly collectible Hot Wheels bus... the 1996 VW Drag Bus. This was back in the day (1996) when I was really into Hot Wheels and was perusing the shelves constantly for one but never managed to snag one.

Here is one of my more recent favorites from Hot Wheels 2016 series, the '69 Dodge Daytona Charger! I have it in this exact same color scheme and detailing but not with those same rims. Those are some sweet Cragar-style rims.

I don't recall having many Hot Wheels as a kid...I was more into Breyer horses and Barbie dolls. I do have a small box of Hot Wheels now...I'll pick one up from time to time if they catch my eye. They're mostly the weird or silly ones. Here's one I bought several years back...The Hot Seat!

My latest die cast car acquisition is, the excellent 1/64 scale version of the 1973 Ford Falcon XB featured in the movie "Mad Max"! Pretty cool! I think that I will get their 1/24 scale version of it next.
