The new teaser trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is out now and I cannot wait to see it! I love all of the Star Wars flicks and this one is heavily anticipated by me. I was seriously thinking of creating another forum and titling it "The Hollywood Hot Tub" after my Amazon thread of the same name but then decided against it figuring that it would just be ignored, so I decided to do the next best thing and just create a thread here for fun and for posting random thoughts and Hollywood gossip and whatever else comes up.

Here's another one that I am looking forward to seeing, the 5th in the Killjoy series. I have always wanted to see Judge Death and the Dark Judges in a live-action Judge Dredd movie. They are some of the creepiest and iconic comic book villains ever.
I think my all-time favorite novel, "Comes The Blind Fury" by John Saul would make an AMAZING movie! I first read it when I was 11 (mom was NOT happy, but didn't stop me!), and have read it dozens of times since. The cover image used to scare me so badly, I wouldn't even keep the book in my room--it stayed, face-down, on the living room couch!

I can't remember the last time that I have even read a book? It's been awhile. Although I do have a bunch sitting here on my desk that I have been meaning to read, but TV shows and goofing around online take up most of my free time so I never seem to get around to them. My favorite book of all-time though is Stephen King's The Stand. Have you ever read it? I have read it a few times and it's just a really great book. They made it into a TV mini-series that was pretty good but not nearly as good as the book is. They are planning to turn it into a big screen movie but that was awhile ago and I haven't heard much about it since then. If they do make it for the big screen I hope that they do it right.

I just saw your question about John Saul's "Comes the Blind Fury". It's about a family moving into a creepy New England house where the ghost of a blind girl contacts the 12 year-old daughter and gets the daughter to help her see...and avenge...events from 100 years previously. Felissa Rose (as she looked in "Sleepaway Camp") has always reminded me of the daughter, Michelle Pendleton. Chloe Grace Moretz (of the last "Carrie" remake) is how I imagine the ghost, Amanda Carson, to look. And the late, great Christopher Lee is exactly how I picture the character of Josiah Carson.
