My sister pretty much avoided contact with my mother for the last ten years of her life. They had some big blowup over something that caused a rift between them. About what I don't know because neither one would tell me what it was about or the reason why. My mom tried to mend relations with my sister every so often over the years to no avail. Then when she unexpectedly passed away at the age of 54, you should have seen the flowing tears of guilt and hear the cries from my sister and how much she loved my mom. Too late, you should have told her that while she was still alive. Just send him an email or a card and let him know that you are thinking about him. |
