Well, this one time back when I was a kid I stole a comic book. Or two? I can't remember the exact details or numbers. It was a long time ago. All that I know is, I really wanted those comic books! Tell us all your cool story here!

Well...I don't like to brag, but; there was this one time when I had to fight off an elite team of bloodthirsty ninjas. All I had on me was a rubber chicken and a toothpick at the time. Within 10 minutes all the ninjas were out cold and dead on the floor. And then the alarm clock woke me up and I had to get ready for school. Heh.

When I was about 6 years old, I am pretty sure this was 1977......my mom left me at this sitter's house who had a boy who was about the same age as me, these older kids who were about maybe 12 or 13 were picking on us day in & day out, so one day we followed them to this club house & we waited for them to leave, once they left we went into the clubhouse & they had comic books galore.....so we tore a lot of them up & got the hell out of dodge........I have always felt bad about that & wonder what would have happened had they come back & caught us....

Ha, that's pretty funny. I wouldn't feel guilty about that at all. Sounds like those older kids were asking for it. You're just lucky that they didn't find out that it was you two who did it.

I have another confession to make! One time as a kid I tried to steal a BB Gun from J. C. Penney and got busted. My Mom was so pissed that she grounded me for weeks! Years later this song came out and when I would turn up the volume she would just laugh. Jane's Addiction - Been Caught Stealing (Video)

That reminds me of a similar incident.......I may have told this story before......it was Dec 1980.....I had just turned 10 years old & there was this little market up the street.....right around New Year's Eve this friend of mine if you want to call him that decided it would be a good idea to steal some food without telling me.....his mom came into the store looking for him, he panicked & the food fell out from under his coat.....she beat the crap out of him right there in the store....I quietly slipped out of the store or so I thought.....got on my bike I & went home.... & sure enough my parents called me into the living room & there she was telling them all about it......I was like..."I didn't know he was going to steal stuff".......my parents response...."You were with him & are just as guilty as if you were sitting in a get-a-way car at a bank"......the verdict.....I was grounded the whole month of Jan 1981......however it probably kept me out of trouble in my teen years.....I was always told that if I got arrested they were not going to bail me out.....& guess what.....I believed them........

In the summer of 1988 when me & my first girlfriend(the one with red hair) were both 17, I would go over to her house while her parents were at work & we would....well you know, it was a thrill because in the back of my mind I knew we might get caught, every time I heard a car door slam I would quickly look out the window to see if the jig was up.....luckily we never got caught.....when we were both 18 the following year we decided to stop sneaking around & she got me to meet her parents.....I then asked them if I could use the restroom & then went right to it....when I came back, she whispered in my ear "don't act like you know where stuff is"....ooops.....I don't think they knew......it is funny because she was always rearing to go & would go down on me with them in the next room....more than once ....again we never got caught........it is funny because they say Karma comes back to bite you on the azz.....it did when my own daughter started dating.....you get paid back ....I didn't catch her, but my ex-wife did.

Oh, believe me, I know exactly what you are talking about. My daughter is in her teens now and the things that she has said and done over these last few years have had me wanting to pull out my hair with stress. No kidding. She has literally made me a nervous wreck more than a few times now with some of her antics. We haven't caught her having sex yet and we're constantly warning her about STDs and safe sex, but you know how kids can be. I can remember back when she was just a baby and some people would tell me that girls are harder to raise than boys are and I didn't believe them at the time. Boy was I ever wrong!

I don't know which one is harder.....my daughter never really got into trouble except for maybe one time when I had to go pick her up at Wal-Mart where she & some friends had been detained for stealing.....however they let her go because she had not taken anything......other than that & my ex-wife catching her & her boyfriend, I can't really recall anything else.....however me & her mother divorced when she was 12, so maybe there is some stuff I don't know about......however now at 22 she is doing o.k. for herself (I hope) she is now engaged & I like the guy.......he is a knucklehead liberal.....but I still like the guy.......I told him that when I was his age I was a knucklehead liberal too & like me, he will one day see the light.

You're lucky then that you didn't get a wild one like I did. She is currently in her Goth phase now. She said to me just yesterday that she is glad that summer is finally over with because it was too hot. I told her that that's only because she constantly wears black clothing and boots and jackets. Of course that would make anyone hot. But she wants to look cool for her friends. We even bought her a couple of really nice and pretty summer dresses last spring and she wore them maybe once. The rest of the summer it was her wearing her Goth fashions. *Sigh* That's kids for ya'.

My first girlfriend went Goth back in 1990.....I was so ticked off at her for dying her red hair black.....it is one of the things that broke us up.....she started wearing all black too & talking about things like the occult & that was the icing on the cake.....we were done after that......add to the fact that I met my ex-wife around the same time.....a few years later around 1992 or 1993 she had her natural look back, red hair & all.... but by that time me & the ex was already involved & living together......she did stalk me for awhile in 2003 up until about 2005.....I wasn't fully attuned to the S/M lifestyle with my first girlfriend, I somtimes wonder if she would have been into it.....she was game for pretty much anything else......the Goth phase is just that....a phase.....I would be more worried about who she is hanging out with.

One of my nieces also went through a Goth phase in her youth and it lasted for only a few years. I don't really mind the look all that much if that's your thing, it's just that seeing someone dressed in black all of the time gets to be tedious. Throw some color in there now and then just to mix things up a little bit. I had a friend years ago who was also like that and that is all that he would ever wear too. Oh, yeah, and I can't forget to mention all of the black T shirts that my daughter owns that have skulls on them. Smh. Oh well, you've just gotta let them do their own thing.

I don't recall a solitary goth dancing ever.
The dancing 'goths' in this video might be 'intervention' material.
Maybe this video explains why, apparently 'goth' dancing is unintentionally funny.

Just when I thought my daughter had it together, I find out she has been messing around with a married man with kids.....now the guy's wife is threatening her with violence.......aaaaggghhh!!.......what the hell is wrong with her??......she is just like her mother....& now she thinks she might be pregnant by this knucklehead......it took every ounce of energy to not go after this guy......I always hear "never pick a fight with someone who has less to lose than you"......now I am pulling my hair out Rock!!

Awww, No... sorry to hear that Roman. I just don't know what to say? It's why I am so worried and nervous about my daughter as she grows older. She's got guys hitting on her all the time and I try my best to warn her about not getting involved with the wrong guys and I can only hope that she listens and learns from it. Hell, just the thought of her learning to drive soon is making me nervous enough. Being a parent is not an easy job at all.

My daughter has the same problem my ex-wife had.....she never takes an experience & learns from it, she was with this loser guy but kicked him to the curb because he was a player.....I thought she had learned somthing from that......but nope!!.....my ex-wife was the same way........she had an affair with a guy that was a known player......the same guy I confronted.........she used to laugh at women who fell for this guy.....then she fell for it.....like mother, like daughter...........my ex-wife always had to involve herself in other people's drama & now my daughter is doing the same thing......but at age 22 there isn't much I can do.
