Rock have you noticed that ever since two versions of the Red Dawn remake were released that China is rarely ever negatively portrayed in film anymore.
China is a master at dictating to Hollywood what not to produce.
Basically if you want to release your film in China and have access to Chinese entertainment dollars any number of themes are not permitted and much cannot be even said at all.

Reminds me of the video I watched of, at some point in history, a Russian senior leader mentioning the harnessing of Hollywood for great propaganda influence.

Anyone not living under a rock basically knows that organized crime , meaning you know thumb to nose, largely has control over gambling and more specifically Casinos.
Less known is how pervasive "thumb to nose" organized crime used direct influence over Hollywood.
Not surprisingly a rare book on a organized crime figure directly involved in the enormous direct influence of Hollywood was stolen before I could read much of it.
However looking at Hollywood history, especially you know, figures , actors and actresses.
It really shouldn't come as any surprise that "someday I will ask a favor from you" largely controlled Hollywood for decades.

We both know that the Hong Kong protests are being agitated by foreign agents.
Of course, I am not saying that it didn't begin organically.
I am just saying in this international day and age, with warfare having been redefined in many ways.
If a nation is hostile to you the most cost effective way to be a thorn in your side is to exploit your domestic political opposition for their own purpose.
Repeatedly stated by Clint Watts that basically any division that can be created within the United States is actively encouraged covertly by Russian agents.

What Clint doesn't say is the same thing has been SOP for our uh agency in international affairs.

With regards to China.
China being a communist country where the state controls most domestic production.
It is well known that Chinese hackers routinely steal intellectual property, patents and then the state mass-produces counterfeit goods.
Is there any wonder why the Chinese economy has been so successful other than industrial espionage?

I think China may have hacked your forum Rock, every now & then at work I will check for updates on these threads, twice now while doing so I have recieved a message telling me that my phone has been compromised with a virus, I am then asked to sign up for virus protection.....uggh no....this never happens on my PC, every site I have visited on my phone is an official protected website, mainly the same sites I go to on my PC which are not many, (Amazon, YouTube, Femjoy, Boxofficemojo, Wikipedia, ETC & of course Rock's Pro Board site)I do not surf random sites on my phone let alone my PC.......I think what I am getting on my phone is a scam to get me to sign up for somthing that will require me giving a credit card number......has anyone else had this issue?.....it only happens when I access this site from my phone.

From the many books that I have read with regards to hacking, the general consensus is that if your network is connected to the internet at all. You are hacked.
I don't care.
As long as what little money that I have is still there. I could care less that anyone knows anything that I look at or say online.
However, I could imagine the fear that many have to have. My favorite is when people actually believe that a product makes them impervious to gonvernment eavesdropping because it is advertised as DoD sweep or whatever , Tor browser.
That is what made me so suspicious of Snowden, his apparent insistence to use programs to communicate that would promise anonymity. While simultaneously having been a CIA asset and contractor for the NSA.
Any program even mildly well known that promises anonymity. Would not that program immediately be placed under a microscope by United States counterintelligence?

Contrary to what that 'expert' says even today in a conventional war China would not stand a chance against our technology.
Precisely why cyberwar is getting so much attention in some circles.
In any world conflict amongst current super powers largely all civilians would be screwed.
No electricity, no trucking or rail, famine, looting and anarchy without relief.
Doubtful many civilians realize how in a world conflict the current military strategy is for DoD to first and foremost protect itself.
This doctrine began with nukes and pretty much stayed that way from hence forth.

Desert Storm was largely where the United States showed how effective our conventional forces alone could be. Don't forget the Iraqis and China largely used identical Russian equipment at that time.

Yep, I agree. That is why President Trump is not sweating it one bit. He knows way more than he is leading on about, but one thing is for certain, he is confident in our military's strength and abilities. He ain't just bluffing. Who knows what kind of secret technology that they have now and that he is fully aware of. It's why he started Space Force to begin with. He knows exactly what we are up against and he ain't fooling around. Heck... We don't even need nukes anymore from what I am hearing. That is old, outdated weaponry. Just do a search for "Rods From God" for one thing. It can do the exact same damage as a nuke without all of the radioactive fallout, from what I understand.
