Yeah, I know... I just thought that it was nice to hear a Hollywood celebrity praise our country for a change rather than trying to tear it down and talk trash about how "We're losing our Democracy!" all the time like a lot of the wacko lefty celebrities have been whining about over the last four years. Exactly what rights and privileges have people like Alec Baldwin, Robert DeNiro, Jim Carrey, Cher, Rob Reiner, John Cusack... I could go on and on... Exactly what rights and freedoms have they lost over the last four years? None, that's what. So, at least Mark Wahlberg is showing some gratitude for being an American and thankful for the life and opportunities that it has given him. |

I think that John Carpenter was on to something either consciously, or subconsciously when he made "They Live". Seriously, a lot of politicians and celebrities do not seem to be Human. They are cold, ruthless and uncaring, but very good at feigning being wholesome people just looking out for the better interests of their fellow Americans, while behind the scenes doing the exact opposite. Take Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook for example... That guy is definitely not Human. I don't know what he/it is, but every time I see him speak he gives me the creeps. Here is a video of Joe Biden with what appears to be his eyes shifting back and forth from normal to reptilian or demonic type eyes. I saw an even better more recent video footage of this exact same thing happening to his eyes a few days ago but now can't seem to find it? I may have seen it over on Bit Chute and will go back and see if I can find it and repost it later. I always knew that John Carpenter made the film in defiance of Reaganomics, and the greed of the Capitalist elites at the expense of the middle class. The film can be interpreted in so many ways though, which makes it a really thought-provoking and interesting movie. But unlike a lot of movies today, John Carpenter did not try to shove an ideology or message into your head with it, he kept it subtle in that regard for the most part and made the movie first and foremost entertaining and fun to watch. It's a great little flick and I will have to watch it again sometime soon. |
