I have loved bicycles my entire life and have owned more than I can count. My favorite one of them all though was a black 5-speed Schwinn Krate. I rode that thing everywhere into my Twenties. I would have people stop me on the road ocassionally asking me if I would like to sell it. I wonder what I ever did with it? It was a sweet bike!

Oh, and no... That's not my picture. But, my Krate was exactly like that though except I had a tall seat pole on the back of mine.
Dammit! I wish that I could remember what I did with that bike? It most likely got stolen I'm thinking?

I'm definitely going to build one 6-12 months.
Build a quality , modified , upgraded components , internal combustion engine powered bike
I'm also quite confident that its a flippable 'hobby'.
May just start building them regularly ... Even custom , made to order...
Potentially quite lucrative for awhile ... If done right

Oh, found a bunch of videos of motorized bicycles using the Slugo Fat Tire bike that I ordered
Thing is going to be BAD-ASS
Mine will have 'Ape Hanger' handlebars of first video , color scheme of second video.
Though the 'Banzai' / 'Cafe Racer' bars of second video provide much better handling especially at high speed...
As I mentioned , I want a dangerous 'Adult Only' machine

Oh, and 'professional' custom motorized bicycle shops have sprung up all around.
My 1000$ price point , beats theirs hands down...With a beter bike, better motorized engine and components
...
Setting up a professional shop... not prudent , too much overhead, insurance liability etcetera...
Garage builds, cash and carry...Now that is realistic
Unless you have a 'Name' for yourself like 'Jesse James' opening a 'professional' shop is bound to fail.

There's a lot of competition in engines , components and bicycles ...You could easily build a low, low quality gasoline motorized bicycle for less than 500$
Mine is closer to 1000$
...
Oh, and Overstock.com currently has the Slugo for 353$ a bargain
By all accounts the Slugo is an outstanding foundation for a quality build
You can also find the Slugo on Ebay...Heh, sold by Overstock.com again 353$ a bargain
