Same here! Werewolves have always been my favorite classic horror movie monster. I even own a couple of Halloween Werewolf masks. Supposedly, real-life Werewolves have been spotted all around the world, including right here in Michigan. Although instead of calling him a Werewolf, they've dubbed him the Michigan Dogman. But, according to witnesses, he looks just like a Werewolf from the movies.

"To Boldly Go: Part 1" was another very excellent episode of "Star Trek Continues" that I highly recommend to any Star Trek fans out there. I can't wait to see what happens in part 2, which is sadly going to be the the very last episode of this amazing series.

With Halloween quickly approaching, I have been watching some horror movies lately and one that I saw last night was pretty darned good. It is titled "Tales of Halloween" and I watched it on Netflix. It is an anthology of 10 short stories, some scary, some creepy, and others are just downright silly, cheesy and fun. It's a perfect flick to watch for this time of year. Speaking of Halloween, yesterday my older niece brought home a list of rules & guidelines for costumes from her junior high. I couldn't believe it--some of the rules I could understand for the sake of student safety, but most of them (in my opinion) were flat-out ridiculous! No clown costumes. No face paint. No capes. No accessories. No wigs. No masks. What the hell kind of costumes are these poor kids going to be allowed to wear? And the list finished off by saying something to the effect of "If a costume is not worn, students must wear a school uniform, NOT jeans and a t-shirt." If the school is going to restrict the costumes so much, give the kids a "free dress day" at least! Jeez!
OK, sorry about all that. Outraged rant over.

Ignore their Internet habits, what is available a mere mouse click away...Remember every kid, has an 'IT' friend...Likely several by second grade.
Firsthand knowledge of what children are presently exposed to in online gaming alone...Kids 'grow up' fast now...Maturity no,premature exposure to mature behavior , themes absolutely unavoidable.
Just bizarre ...Religious objection to Halloween NEVER made ANY progress ...Liberal's objections to Halloween nearly instantly honored/progress!

Kids today, the confusing times we are in
Kneeling at flag , general outcry, marked disrespect for country , flag , president , can I trust the news, mass shootings, terrorism , dogs, look both ways before crossing the street and don't take candy from strangers...etc.
Don't forget the DRUGS!!! Likely something readily available by second grade.
