Regularly living outside in a major city is a combination of Being a Teenager in High School and Prison.
It has it's poignant moments... I talked with a handful of women regularly that slept somewhere outdoors...One bought me a pack of smokes and sat on my feet 'where is your camp' wink, wink, another she asked for five dollars several times on different days, I never gave her money, I did buy her chihuahua she kept in her purse mostly, Vienna sausages I purchased a few times, I bought another girl a microwave when she was housed in a SRO, before SRO she flashed her BUSH and said I want you to do me in a Castro bathroom, we weren't far from the Castro, I didn't, Another saw that I had two personal handheld radios asked if she could have one, that is a no... ... Met one, obviously not homeless, bought some liquor, she asked to go to her place, when I exited shower I panicked when my wallet I left in her kitchen somehow was slippery and wet... It occured to me in hindsight how did my wallet get slippery and wet , oh she had touched herself and touched my wallet when I was in the shower, laughing, they usually would hightail when it started getting dark... Only three men I can recall speaking with more than once in two years towards the end of two years. I fought one of them, young Russian he quickly realized whoops.

My divewatch had recently disappeared and he suspiciously had three small new bags of groceries, this was in a shelter.
