Back then I knew a guy who worked at a radio station and one day he gave me some promo copies of Ozzy's first two solo albums, "Blizzard of Ozz" and "Diary of a Madman". He said that he wouldn't listen to them because they are "Devil Music". I put them aside with the rest of my record collection where they sat for months until one day when I was really bored listening to other bands of my favorite music I decided to give Ozzy's albums a listen to and man, oh man was I ever floored with how good they were! I then started listening to all of the Black Sabbath records after that. Ever since then I have been hooked. Many people think that Black Sabbath is evil devil's music but if you listen to the lyrics of the songs they are actually trying to warn people of the evil's of this world.

    The "Devil's music"......I remember hearing these ridiculous comments like that back in the day as well, I remember a friend of mine whose mom was a church choir member, somtimes the church leaders would sponsor trips for all the teens which we partisipated in a few times, my pal had a Ozzy Osboune cassette tape that he had bought on one these ventures & one of the church leaders told him he should be ashamed of himself!!!......I didn't know whether to be annoyed or laugh......some of these church people are hypocrits......you learn a lot about people when you go to church, these so-called christians do some of the most un-christian things......my first ever job was at McDonalds in the mid 80's, there was this one manager who everyone called Hitler, the guy was a real jerk, everyone hated him, he had me fired.....then low & behold I discovered him at the church.....couldn't believe it.....he said "hi".....& I said "you come here to get saved after getting me fired?".....he looked at me like I had just shot his dog, these people lack so much self awareness.......me & my pal tried to rig the sound system to play the  "KISS" song "Heaven's on fire" to mess with them, unfortunately we were not able to pull it off......but I would have loved to see their faces upon hearing the song.
