It's definitely lucrative if you can merely amass a genuine substantial subscription base and successfully navigate the mystery of what you can monetize and what you cannot.
The last time I researched it, a creator authorized by YouTube for monetized content averages 1 dollar per 1000 views.
That'd be over $4000 for his "Wierd Satanist Viral Hit" , not bad change considering
Subsidize that with creative marketing of relevant products , mugs, shirts, buttons, swag and AND product placement in your content
