Everybody knows the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, right? You'd have to live in a cave not to. But what about the Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters? The Hamsters were a parody of the Turtles back in the good old 1980's which saw a lot independent black and white comic book titles emerge with the success of the TMNT. So, the question of the day is, which team is better, the Turtles, or the Hamsters? Also, vote for your favorite character out of the two groups above.

My grandmother on our families ranch owned several turtles.
Simultaneously, while living on the ranch I owned sea monkeys they lived naturally in a smaller pond behind the house that I lived in, thousands of them. I also owned a "pet" Raven, gartner snake, green june bugs and several lizards all caught wild.
I also simultaneously owned hamsters. I earned .25 cents for each hamster baby, that reached age to sell, from a pet store in Sierra Vista a good thirty minute drive from the ranch.
I am therefore ineligible, due to monetary bias, to vote.
Guns? Oh, we had guns. Lots of em.
My first (8 or 9 years old)... Ruger 10-22 semi-auto with two 25 round magazines attached to each other.
I shot my first pistol around 5 or 6, A .357 magnum, nickle plated, long barrel revolver.
People frequently told dad that he resembled Clint Eastwood. I personally believe it "went to his head". He frequently kept the .357 out of sight but within direct, immediate access reach in whichever vehicle that he was currently driving and a 12 guage pump "shorty" in the trunk.
Would he shoot anybody? Without a doubt, yes.

I was anxiously awaiting to hear a story about how you trained your pet hamsters in the ways of martial arts and how they grew up to become super heroes, but it never happened?!
With all of the guns in your house, did the hamsters at least become good firearm marksmen...er, markshamsters?

I still have the first few issues of ARBBH too stored somewhere around here. It was a great comic. I have been a fan of TMNT since day one. It broke my heart to have to sell the first issue when I was hard up for cash but I sold it for $300 bucks on eBay years ago. It wasn't in mint condition though, it had some scratches on the back cover. I think I might have sold the 2nd and 3rd issues too but I can't remember? I'll have to dig through my closets and check. I have like 6 long boxes full of mint comic books from the 80s and 90's stored in one of my closets.
